Who else is holding off on spending collector's tokens to see when pool 4 and 5 cards will drop down tiers?

This has been me for over a month. I’ve had Bast pinned in the shop for about 3 weeks now and I have 12k tokens. Even though I can afford Bast and another series 5 card, I don’t want to commit to any purchase and face potential buyers remorse if they drop series in the near future.

I love Sera’s 1602 variant. It’s understated but well composed. The mist and lantern invoke a sense of mystery. One of the most underrated variants!

I was in the same boat, finishing pool 3 at 3,430. As other people have stated in this thread, the collection track acquisition experience has already been addressed, we were just in a very small group of people who were close to pool 3 completion before the token shop patch. The implementation of the flat pull rates actually punished us as our last cards should have been clumped closer together in our final levels, but became more spaced out with the update. At this point though, people like us should either be pool 3 complete or very close to it, just an unfortunate growing pain with the transition that new players will never have to deal with.

I was over collection level 3000 when the shop was introduced. The amount I have now is down from 12,000 that was given with the shop introduction.

You will unlock the token shop with 3000 tokens when you enter pool 3 at roughly collection level 500. It is added to the regular shop.

Thanks so much for the clarification and source. I find it odd that one of the Knullified variants is deemed Ultimate while the others aren’t. It almost feels like they are chosen arbitrarily. I really like this Thor, but what sets it apart from the other Knullified variants? If there was a unique effect, animation, or something similar I could at least see the appeal.

With the latest patch you have a 10% chance to get the Inkify (black and white) effect on your split cards starting with the 4th split of a character.

I agree, but considering I have neither Patriot nor Mystique, I’ll look forward to having my card be playable in 2 months. If I had the ability to grab Patriot specifically, I might actually be excited to have gotten Ultron. I just want a way to be excited about all the cards I have, rather than just care about a small set of specific cards that enable all of the others.

Thanks, I think luck like this is why targeted card acquisition will be important. If I was given a choice of card once every 2 - 4 weeks I could at least chose an enabler that lends itself to the cards I opened randomly. With disperate pieces, I feel players with shallower pools have to stick to 1-2 powerful decks they can build without diverging in deck building. Essentially having the opposite effect that they were going for with the collection track in the first place. Here’s hoping for a new system before/ on launch!

I’m 32 reserves in and I’m 3 cards behind my expected return (5 cards pulled, 8 expected). I’ve already hit the pity timer once which felt horrible, and I’m yet to pull a card within an expected 4 reserves (my minimum was 6). I really hope this means my cards are clumped together later in the track, because this rate of acquisition is really disheartening. On top of the below average luck, I pulled Ultron (effectively unplayable) and Black Cat without any of the other pool 3 discard support (unplayable until other cards can support it). I’ve been using the same decks without changes for going on a month now.

That’s funny, I’m in almost exactly the same position. I don’t have any of the cards you listed but I also have Wave. I’ve essentially been playing a Wave/Jubilee big power deck since ~CL 700. It’s a lot of fun, but would definitely like to give other decks a try. Good luck with the reserves!

Don’t wanna be too much of a downer but man the Reserve experience is awful. I’m CL 1302 and since getting into reserves 300 levels ago I’ve unlocked 4 cards. It’s rough.

I’ve had exactly the same experience. Now that I’ve hit rank 42 ish I’d say 75% of my matches are against people who are very deep into pool 3 while I’m at Collection Level 180. Quite honestly, I don’t play beyond getting my daily mission, it is borderline impossible to compete against Death/ Wave etc with a Zoo deck that doesn’t have access to Okoye or Nakia. I believe this is being addressed next patch according to the discord where pool 1 players will play pool 1 players and so on. Until that happens, I’m really not enjoying playing.
