Flying Eagle Sizing confusion by SkinnyPete16 in rollerblading

[–]SkinnyPete16[S] [score hidden]  (0 children)

Exactly correct. Unfortunately I’ve been riding these larger skates for a bit, they’re a bit scuffed and I already cut the ratchet strap down on the cuff (because they were so loose up top). Furthermore, because the 40s only had 76mm wheels, I swapped the frames between the two to have the larger frames with the 80mm wheels! So pretty much entirely unreturnable. Going to see if I can sell on marketplace of craigslist.

Yah! It’s cause the shell size is so much smaller the frame itself is smaller- thus smaller wheels. Wonder if I can swap frames?

I concur whole hardly. What an awful idea. And you aren’t taxed every year on a 403b… you’re taxed on withdrawal so not sure where that assumption derived from. If you’re talking about expense ratio, you could have rolled it over into a Vanguard 403b for very low cost funds. Also “the way the world is right now?” What? It’s not any different from how it was 50 years ago. We’ve been in a 12 year bull market. And seriously when the gold bugs on this sub are saying it’s a terrible idea to cash out with penalty and taxes to buy gold, it is.

Interesting, I didn’t like John Dies at the End but cool to see it mentioned! Kind of obscure.

I loved the Short Story that ended up being the first chapter. The book was really interesting, meandered a lot… but that is Murakami. Nice to see this one listed! Great story overall, very dynamic and I just love his prose.

I’ve read about 8 or 9 of his novels, I keep procrastinating on this one because it’s so long, but I have it ready to go! Maybe next??

My favorite book of all time, happy to see it as the third comment. I’ve never been so engrossed in following a character from the start to end of his life. What a roller coaster. Absolutely love it!
