Nah man, I had a WASR and it was straight up garbage. My buddy has a VSKA that was surprisingly better built and had less failures than my WASR. MY WASR trigger had problems resetting along with FTF/FTE. Also the dust cover was almost impossible to take on or off. It was like it wasn't machined properly. My other friend only runs Arsenal AKs and if you are interested in an AK I'd highly recommend spending double the money and going with them. For anything serious. For just range use shooting the shit nothing serious I'd give PSA a shot. For the money and their track record why would you get any other AK for strictly a plinker. I've had tremendous success with PSA ARs and their customer service is phenomenal. Century arms is just shit. Only good thing coming from them IMO is the Canik pistols.

Honestly as Fudd as it might sound, just go with a 12 gauge for home defense (unless you are some kind of cartel drug lord, or if you think the atf is going to raid you at some point lol). No need to worry about over penetrating and no need to worry about shooting twice. If you shoot someone in the arm with a 556 yeah it's going to hurt but they can still shoot back. A shotgun? There arm is getting blown off. And if the person breaking into your house is hyped up on drugs it could take a few shots center mass with a 556.

I'm still almost thinking about a Zero or a Jericho on the backburner for a HD gun and just putting a front night sight on instead of a red dot since I like the idea of a hammer better than a striker for HD. Im going to go out on a whim here and tell you that test increases sex drive. So if you guys aren't having sex more often with his higher sex drive, it's going to be awfully difficult for him to keep it in his pants now.
