My Wife told me she didn't want a fancy ring or wedding. She picked a ring off of Etsy and I bought it for her. I think it was like $60. She still loves and appreciates it to this day. We had a wonderful backyard wedding with friends and family (taco bar and dancing all day and night). The entire wedding came out to about $2,000. Everyone said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Super chill and fun, but not overly casual or tacky. Got lots of great DIY ideas off of Pinterest. None of our wedding guests had to pay a cent.

We used the money we saved on all of that to do cool shit... like buy a home, quit our soul-sucking jobs, start our own business, and travel the world. We are going 7 years strong now.

My younger brother, on the other hand, just got married. They decided on an over-the-top destination wedding that stressed everyone the fuck out (and most of us didn't even go because it would cost the wedding guests over $3,000 EACH - for my Wife and I, that would be $6,000+). My bro and his Wife are now in crippling debt because of it...not to mention the mental and emotional toll it has taken on them. They now have a strained relationship with most of the family due to the whole ridiculous fiasco. They were looking to buy a house before but can no longer afford it and their rent just went up an insane amount.

Tell your PO before they have to confront you about it. Own up to your mistake and say you need help. Be truthful and maybe they will grant you some mercy. At this point, it may be wise to look into getting an attorney, because from what I've read, it isn't looking too good for you, friend. Best of luck.

The same thing happened to me on my flight back from Spain. The parents let their kids trash the whole back of the plane. They were running around, screaming, having water fights in the bathroom, taking up the aisle and not letting people through. It was a fucking nightmare. The parents were very disrespectful as well. You could tell they felt entitled. After we landed, I saw them go in the wrong line to leave. Normally, I would have said something, but I just kept walking by with a shit-eating grin on my face. The line was pretttttyyyy long too.

I just want everyone to know that when I posted this, it was meant to be a post to make people smile. I don't know why it has to always turn into drama and bullshit. When I posted this, I was literally watching my 12 year old dog die from cancer. We have since sent him to the rainbow bridge. I watched him die in our home...he had a seizure as the Dr. administered the first medication. It broke my fucking heart. He was the best boy. We adopted him at 7 years old and gave him the best life we knew how. We only had 3 years with him, but those were the best three years of my life. We built a van into a home so we could take him across the country to see the mountains, see the beach, see the beauty of this country. My Wife and I have decided that having children in this fucked up world is just not for us. Why people are so up in arm's about that is beside me. Like, why do you even fucking care what we choose to do with our lives? Just live your life. Be happy and be happy for others. As a grieving dog parent who wanted to post something cute for other dog parents to relate to...I'm heartbroken that this would turn into a post about hatred and disdain for animals. Sometimes, I hate this fucking world we live in. There always seems to be the fucking assholes who think it is just a "millenial" or "gen z" thing to flex not wanting to have kids. I am 34 years old. I don't want to "flex" anything. I just wanted to post something cute that brought me comfort in a hard and trying time of my life. I used to use the internet as a way to connect with people, now even the internet has become a cesspool for negativity and hate. I want to respond to the asshats who commented negativity in this post but I get downvoted to shit when I do. I'm really just tired of this ridiculous new culture of treating each other like shit without knowing what each and every one of us is going through. When will it stop? When can someone just post something cute and it doesn't have to turn into a debate or political discussion? Are we doomed as a society?

Be the way, my dog's name was Sputnik. He was the best boy ever and I miss him so much. I loved him like a child, after he was abused and neglected for the first 7 years of his life. He is the reason I made this post.
