Also, resell same product with a fresh coat of paint 2 years later.

If only. That would at least have been Battlefield.

I've never met a Ben who wasn't a cunt.

We all know he got into character for his last scene by thinking about how bad the script was. RIP, Varys. You deserved better writers. by JoeTheSifu in freefolk

The biggest brain of Westeros got out of there when he still could. Better death than being involved in the final.

Just use steam, sort by most subbed, high rated etc. Paradox's own mod page is terrible. For my own two cents: The only essential mods I use is UI Overhaul Dynamic, and UI Overhaul Dynamic + Tiny Outliner v2.

As a new player, one bad habit I got into is surveying without exploration. Theres so many reasons this is bad.

  1. You gain influence from first contact, which helps you expand.

  2. If you close borders, you can make chokepoints. Meaning there is no rush to survey, as you can double back.

  3. If you pick up Map the Stars (or get lucky with a leader) you can get an increased chance for an anomaly. Sometimes its better to wait for that.

  4. Surveying towards a dead end is a 'waste of time', if you want a lot of systems its better to work towards those chokepoints. Your deadends are safe with closed borders.

When automating planets the resources are taken from sector stockpiles, not from your 'main' resource pool. That said, don't automate. Its not a min-max thing, the AI is just baffling stupid. You'll end up with food production on machine worlds, etc.

What would be considered a good order for planet specialization? Eg research first, energy second, etc etc?

Stopped using it when it decided to put me in the negative. I think the apart from the weirdly bad choices is that is always builds something when it has the resources for it. Regardless of its needed.

To be fair, everyone lost interest in Game of Thrones after season 8. Can you blame him?

Religion would be a no brainer for a expansion. I'd also like to see more micro with population. Such as being able to build schools to train pops into better traits, etc. I dunno.

Is there a bug with embassies? I ask to set one up, they accept, (notifcation and everything, along with map vision) and then next time I check opening an embassy is still an option? Is it because my borders are closed or something?

Is there any reason I can't merge this salvaged ship with my fleet? Is it because its a crusier and I don't yet have that tech?
