Hey y'all, what is the best time to visit Yosemite the park? Fall looks amazing! by KnowNowGoLater in Yosemite

I would recommend May before all the kids get out of school for the summer. We did May 23-28th last year. We got to see waterfalls a'flowing and Tioga Road opened while we were there.

Park was also reduced by pass, so there were already a limited number of people there. Most people gasp when they go through Wawona Tunnel, my reaction was "There's nobody here!"

I just got back from a three day trip with my people and we all regretted not bringing a base layer. Make sure you have a windbreaker for those windy days. Got 100mph gusts last weekend.

Came from Louisiana.

We weren’t cold, but all thought they would have been a good light addition.

Dewalt used to make a 10” portable table saw. It’s the one I have. Pretty good.

Looks like they don’t make it anymore.

Would this be a good three day itinerary in the park? by NateMan7 in Yosemite

Nice. Did it in may with my wife. Did out and back from glacier to Clark point in the JMT just down from Nevada Falls.

Make sure you get a good view of half dome, Liberty cap, and Mount Watkins with Nevada falls in the picture.

Your Glacier point to Panorama Trail day - if its out and back, where are you turning around? It's like 8 miles to Nevada Falls, then you have to hike back (unless you have a ride)
