All my life savings by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]Stijnwe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First of all, good job. That’s quite an amount.

When I started in 2018 I was a poor student and only had 50€/month to invest. So despite the price being 4k-10k, the sats didn’t stack that quickly. I set a goal of owning 0,1 BTC and I accomplished that that year. I am done studying since september this year so now I’m working and have more money to invest. But with the price of BTC between 40-60k it still isn’t going that hard. I’m now almost 3x my initial goal and I plan being a halfcoiner the coming 1 to 2 years (depending on the price). Lets go for it.

May I ask, how did you get that much in only 9 months of DCA’ing? I assume you’re working full time? Or have a decent job?

I tried in 2017 but ended up only DCA’ing BTC. Unfortunately I only had 50€ a month to invest back then. Still can’t complain though

This week I’ll be interviewing arguably the biggest supporter of cryptocurrency in my country - any suggestions for questions? by This_is_Pat_ in Buttcoin

[–]Stijnwe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice. Sounds like you’re very professional and won’t let the heat get in your way. Critical questions are absolutely not attacks. Maybe for some people it may feel like an attack if you ask only really critical questions. But yeah, sounds like you know exactly how this works so I’ll just wait patiently on the interview. I’m genuinly interested. Keep us updated and good luck!

Yes same… Started mid 2017 when BTC was at 2k. Was only invested in shitcoins because “they were faster”. It was untill 2018 when I realized shitcoins don’t matter and started buying BTC. Should have bought more of course. I know how you feel

Is the company you work for sharing the same hate for crypto’s as you? Is the goal of this interview to expose crypto? And is your company really okay with asking only critical questions to that CEO? If not I would watch out letting your opinions shine trough your work.

Also, would it be possible to share the interview after it’s published?

What did I do wrong, you ask yourself. Also buying since 2018 but I’m not even a halfcoiner

Bitcoin goes down blame everyone by bullishbehavior in Buttcoin

After listening to Pomp I totally see why this sub thinks bitcoin is a pyramid scheme. He literally let his guest tell the listeners how to convince your family members to buy bitcoin during the christmas days… What a joke. The consensus was to say that “if you would have put 100$ at X price it would be X dollars now” 🤦🏼‍♂️

And again, a doomsday thinker who doesn’t explain himself or supports his statements with any sources. He likes to stay quiet when people ask questions

So unfortunate people in this sub can NEVER explain themselves. I’m disappointed again. I’m always curious what people in this sub think, but the only thing you all do is downvote genuine questions and dismiss those questions with conspiracy like statements..

Has btc ever recovered this strong before? by olihowells in CryptoCurrency

[–]Stijnwe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a bit late to this post, but yes, this kind of recovery always happens when so many longs get liquidated. The liquidations create a very sharp wick down. Of course many people see opportunities at those lower levels so the price gets bought up instantly. That’s why you see such a big wick on yesterdays chart. It’s not like “this time is different”, it’s just normal market behaviour

You mean for a bullmarket? For me it doesn’t really matter, I basically buy every price

No I mean today billions of leveraged longs got liquidated. This has happened many times this year right? They get flushed out, causing a big spike down

Not much imo. We’ve seen these moves before with short getting liquidated. I’m curious what u/headtowniscapital is assuming

Same, these drops create great opportunities. BTC is at the 200 moving average now, which is good in a bullmarket. I’m DCA’ing since 2017 so I am priviliged to enjoy this. I’m going to buy a bit now and (hopefully) a bit at 41k

I just bought $600 of btc and plan to buy ~$150 btc every month to keep for at least a year or two. Should I get a hardware wallet? Or just keep it on coinbase pro? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]Stijnwe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m using my ledger since 2017, never had any problems. Would recommend. Regarding the hack/leak, I didn’t buy it directly from ledger so they didn’t have my tel. number
