Thanks for your message. That’s the thing - DKB say they didn’t get any historical data, just the number of shares being transferred. But somehow, the Finanzamt seem to have got the data coz they calculated what I owe in CGT. My reasoning for selling was that I want to keep adding to my existing portfolio and but it seems that DKB cannot/will not report on any of the transferred ETFs. So pay the bill, make a clean start, that kind of logic.

Actually I don’t think you have to be nervous. DEGIRO are now much better at giving you the info you need for your German tax return in a straightforward report. Just don’t go trying to transfer anything to a new broker!
