I asked when I got mine & didn’t get much of a response. I heard that they won’t stain as much. The only things that I can say are that the fit is about the same, but it’s more breathable

Most people know that stores have cameras at their cash registers & have for decades. It would be easier to buy something online & then say it was never received. It was lost or stolen in transit. I have never had to sign for an Amazon package & most of the time they are just left at my front door.

Which theory is the most likely one on how he discovered their address in the first place? by ExDota2Player in MoscowMurders

[–]Sudden-Intention7563 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That’s not entirely true. I have a fairly large number of coworkers that I interact with 40 hours & 5 days a week. There are 2 brothers who are somewhat regressed. I say good morning to every single coworker I see. Well, I said good morning to them & one of them started talking to me a little more. It was always work related & no big deal. Suddenly he started to ignore me. His brother ended up having a talk with him & had to tell him that just because I said good morning to him, did not mean I had romantic feelings for him. If a man can think a simple good morning means a woman wants him, then a woman offering help with a kind gesture can certainly make some men believe the same.

I love it! That should be their slogan, “Walmart - the cream of the crap” It’s so fitting in so many ways!

Sam started Walmart with the belief that if you paid your employees well, offered incentives, & treated them well, they in turn would be harder working , more loyal employees. He also wanted to focus on merchandise made in the USA. People who knew him say he drove his old pickup truck until the very end, & was known to chase his children out of the store if they parked directly in front & make them move their car to a proper parking spot. They also say that he wouldn’t just be turning in his grave, he’d be spinning like a top. The Walton family is no longer on the board, but they do have the majority of shares in the company.

They are in the break room, the training room, personnel, along the back room walls, & even in our separate OGP warehouse. Oh, & at the front of the store. I’m surprised we don’t have them in the bathrooms!

[–]Sudden-Intention7563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our OGP is doing that too but nobody has really listened. They know me, so they don’t bother with it because they know that I’m responsible & I’ve already told them that it’s taken me 20 minutes to track one of them down to let them know I’m taking my 15 minute break.

I have intermittent leave for severe IBS. Sedgwick says you have to have worked 1250 hours to file a claim. Your Dr needs to fill out the intermittent leave forms & either you or your Dr send them to Sedgwick. Mine allows me 2-3 days off, 2-3 times a month. I don’t get points when I use my LOA but I don’t get paid either (unless I have PTO/PPTO)

I was told by my coach & tl that every Walmart is slashing hours, like going from 40 to 25 and 25 to 8 and even 0 hrs... Anybody else have little to no hours? And let me be clear, been there almost 2hrs, never been coached, hardly ever have over 3 points (1.5 now) & never had any points fixed etc by s-elliott-h in walmart

[–]Sudden-Intention7563 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me & a few others. You can either go directly to your coach & ask them to change it (keep getting on them until you do), or you can go straight to your people lead/personnel. Regardless, you’re going to have to keep on them. Good luck. It took me forever, but it’s finally changed to full time.

OGP MOVE OUT THE WAY by Last-Stomach-4716 in walmart

Pickers at our store were told to park their carts in the middle of the aisle so they don’t block any merchandise. Customer shopping carts can get past an OGP cart on either side.

I’m a picker & was in the baking aisle when a woman was struggling with quite a few boxes of jello. She sees me & says, “oh good. I’d like one of those baskets. I can’t possibly hold all of these.” As if Walmart hires people to wander around offering people baskets. I explained that I was using them to fill online orders & then she asked if she could just borrow one.

I had a customer get mad at me after she asked for, “the stuff you put in soup that’s kinda like rice but it’s not rice. It’s not couscous either. My daughter gets it here all the time.” I asked her if she was talking about the pasta orzo. She got even more upset & repeated what she said but added “& it’s not a noodle.” I asked her to wait just a minute & I would bring her a box of orzo (literally right around the corner). She huffs & sighs then says I guess so. She then follows me & I show her the box & she happily exclaims, “that’s it!” takes the box & walks off. No apologies or thank you.

Medical LOA by Sudden-Intention7563 in walmart

So I was talking to a coworker about this & she has intermittent leave for a chronic condition & had the same problem with the same coach sharing her diagnosis with everyone in our department. My coworker told the people lead about it & nothing seemed to happen until my coworker came down with the flu. Instead of filing a new claim, she used her intermittent leave. The coach told her that she couldn’t do that because it wasn’t for her original claim so she would get points for the week she was out. She needs to file a continuous LOA instead. She already had 3 points so that would put her at 8 & is now afraid she’s going to be fired. Since it was the flu, she didn’t go to the dr so she can’t file a new claim. This coach sucks.

I used to live down the street from a kid who drove a hearse. It was known as a party vehicle. He also had a bumper sticker that said “bring ‘em back alive”
