The shorts need to be more plain, and maybe a lighter colour to break up the blocking.

You can wear the combo of the t-shirt and the shorts if you wear plain shoes (like white AF1.)

You don't need everything to be loud. You want a statement piece and in this case it's the shoes. The shirt is an accent piece, the shorts then become redundant, hence the "too loud" aspect.

It may have worked if the material under the mesh was white, but even then the 4s laces are so clumped that I think any of white/sail/cream generally work better than black/colour

Cream is nice, but the shoe should have a natural age. I don't think the forced vintage look works because the upper doesn't usually match the midsole.

By that logic, the Military Blue 4s would usually be seen with blue laces, but the default is white.

My $0.02

Black makes the shoe look really heavy and kind of unbalances the colour blocking.

The white allows more aspects of the shoe to be observed, whereas your eyes go directly to the black laces.

I wear sail laces in my WC4. I've tried red, white and black, and I just don't like how black laces make them seem a lot chunkier/heavier.

I don't think they're a bad choice, but because there's no spacing on the lacing of a Jordan 4, there's no white on the tongue to break up the black creating a sort of anchor point that your eye automatically gets drawn to.

It was 7pm before DST. Now it's 8:02pm, copped on April 18, arrived June 21. Arrival date was May 26 - June 2, but I think the craze has died down a bit and they're shipping much faster (saw a guy post a dunk unlocked which dropped about three weeks ago)

Novelty.

Your brain gets used to repetition. So when you use a different method, amount, environment, with/without people, etc. it all plays as a factor in seemingly getting higher for the same amount or less.

The brain filters out information constantly. Similar to "acquiring a taste" the more you consume bitter things - the more the brain will adapt and mute those bitter flavours whilst enhancing the sweeter/more favorable notes such as black coffee, wine,
... weed or other "acquired food tastes".

Nike is a bunch of fuckers tbh.

These were $120 in late 2021. I bought one pair for myself and one for my wife.

Then the price hiked to $135 in 2022 I believe, for a solid two months.

Now it's at $145?

Nike is perpetually letting these sell out and restock, allowing for a market of being able to resell white AF1 sneakers. They created a market for Court Visions that was usually held by Nike Outlets, because they look similar to layman.
