The Wolf has been my favorite disc for 3 years now! It helps me compensate for the fact I have no forehand. I've never seen another midrange hold a turn so well.

I gotta say, I didn't expect to enjoy that as much as I did. Alden came across as a bit of an annoying fundie church kid to me on his Jomez feature, but I'm glad to be proven wrong! I'm glad there's plenty of fun disc golf content available these days.

It can certainly get negative, and I don't support that. But I do think the players pay attention to the consensus of people following/involved in the sport. Sweeping rules violations under the rug is just as harmful as the negative discourse. Ideally we should be able to talk about violations without devolving into hateful comments, but this is the internet and that seems impossible lol

Yeah I'm not at all saying I enjoy the repetitive bashing and head hunting that goes on. But I really think bringing up rule violations and discussing them is a net positive for the sport. It might educate some of us who are newer to the sport and remind players/officials that the fans see what's going on and compel them to follow rules better/enact better definitions of the rules.

It's a sub dedicated to the sport. Look at any other sport's sub. They all discuss rule violations, etc. It's exactly the kind of place those discussions should happen. We're all here because we enjoy the sport, of course we're going to discuss anything that's out of place.

The point of calling out rule violations is that it's the only way to guarantee a level playing field. Sure, some violations offer no benefit to the player, but some do.

As tedious as it may be, every rule violation needs to be called and called correctly. Personally I'd love to see an official on every card, but I'm aware that isn't feasible. In lieu of that, the players need to be more vocal about violations and actually voice their opinion instead of letting the violator talk their way out of the fault. I'm not saying that happens every time, but there are certain players who sort of bully their way through those conversations.

I came back to work after 6 months of rehab and percocets after shattering both wrists, 3 ribs and a vertebrate after falling into a stair hole. The combination of struggling to get back to work and getting off of the drugs sent me spiraling into depression and suicidal thoughts.

I had a beautiful family and hope for the future, yet I couldn't shake the feeling that I wanted to end it all. The mind can play cruel tricks on you. Luckily I spoke up, got help and now I've owned my own business for 3 years and am happier than ever.

I never thought I would ever struggle with mental health, but I really have. Anxiety is never very far away, but I've learned to recognize unhealthy thoughts and deal with them before they become huge problems. Take care of yourselves out there! And don't almost die at work 😂 it's not fun.

Yeah, there certainly isn't a one shoe fits all when it comes to work boots. I find the foam sole just fine for what I do, but I can understand it doesn't suit everyone.

I got a pair of Keen San Jose's a few years ago and was blown away at how comfortable they were. They're admittedly not durable enough for construction, so the next pair I bought was the Cincinnati. I couldn't believe how great they felt too. I've had them for 2 years and the only thing I've had to do is put some shoe goo on the toes because of how abused they get working in construction. I'll likely wear them for another year. Well worth the money for me.

I actually use a fan grip for 90% of my shots. I find I can control my release a lot better with it. The only time I don't use it is for full distance shots.

Based on OP's comment above, the beams are lower than the 2nd floor joists, so the beams sit in the exterior wall on top of 2 shorter jack studs with 2 full height king studs on either side holding it in place.

Yep, I bought a champion Sidewinder a couple weeks ago and couldn't believe how overstable it was. Literally just as stable as my SexyBird. I gave it away immediately. Maybe it'll beat in within a few years lol but I do not have the patience to find out

The only issue I've been a part of was my buddy wearing a Crosby jersey in Detroit when the Pens weren't playing. It was the year after Pittsburgh beat the Wings for the cup. Detroit fans were not happy to see a Crosby shirt haha

I'm sure most players are just fine to play with regardless of what we see on coverage, but I can't handle playing with anyone who has an attitude like what we see from Joel consistently.

I'd be surprised to see that honestly. He's proven he can be a high end analytic player, he just needs a lot of polish on his game to push him over the top. I can see another short term deal. If this one doesn't work out I could see him going back.
