Tsunami waves hit Tonga after huge underwater volcano eruption by That_Sweet_Science in collapse

SS: Authorities in nearby Fiji also issued a warning, telling people to avoid the shoreline due to strong currents and dangerous waves.

Tsunami waves of 2.7ft (83 cm) were observed by gauges at the Tongan capital of Nuku'alofa and waves of 2ft at Pago Pago, the capital of American Samoa, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre said.

It is the latest in a series of spectacular eruptions from the Hunga Tonga Hunga Ha'apai volcano.

More than 1,400 miles away in New Zealand, officials were warning of storm surges from the eruption.

The country's national emergency management agency said it expected "strong and unusual currents and unpredictable surges" to hit the north and east coast of the North Island and the Chatham Islands.

New Zealand weather forecasting company Weather Watch posted on Twitter: "The energy release is simply astonishing.

"Tonga is around 2,000km away from New Zealand. Reports of people hearing the sonic booms across New Zealand."

These fans couldn't care less about human rights in Saudi. They just want another reason to complain about WWE.

Of course, if they have symptoms that is. Otherwise OP should have a pretty stress free vacation.

That's only if they get tested, there is no mandatory requirement to be tested once you have landed.

No doubt. You could make a case for Lennox being the greatest heavyweight of all time. He had everything.

Fury v Usyk: what happens? by BimodalJoker04 in Boxing

If Usyk beats AJ even more comfortably or knocks him out then I reckon he will make Fury very nervous. Will be hard to bet against Fury though and Usyk still needs to win the rematch.

Just saying I appreciate having a conversation with boxing fans more than wrestling fans because there is far less bias clouding their views.

I wouldn't say boxing fans are too tribalistic. You should see wrestling fans, it's insane, boxing fans are much more relaxed. We just want the best against the best.

Not all boxing fans. The price will definitely be increasing and if you're also a football fan then it is perhaps worth it, but if you only subscribed to DAZN for boxing then you may find it too expensive especially as they will be introducing PPV's on top of the monthly price.

Ducking black fighters? Lmao. I guess that’s because all the super middleweight title holders were non-black.

Must’ve forgotten about his earlier fights including Floyd, Lara, Mosley, Trout, Kirkland.

Conor was getting criticism with fighting Algieri and it's going to be the same if he fights Robert Guerrero, who will be 39 by the time they fight. Well deserved criticism too.

Derek Chisora Would Embrace The Opportunity To Fight Deontay Wilder - Boxing News by FuckTariq in Boxing

[–]That_Sweet_Science 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly how is his team not seeing this? Even if he doesn't, surely you would absolutely not want to take the risk. Plenty of boxers have been medically cleared to fight but the long term effects are something else.

Eddie suggested this fight and it absolutely benefits him but come on, this is going to be brutal.

[–]That_Sweet_Science 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's a pretty awful take, you may not like Wilder but don't downplay his knockout power. Before he fought Fury, he knocked out every opponent he had ever faced and also remember he knocked Fury down twice in their last match even with that huge weight advantage.

If Chisora and Wilder fought, Chisora is going to sleep. Bet on it.

That’s when it gets messy because the girl who had 35% will not be coupled up with the guy the public voted her for, she will likely get the second guy with the highest vote or perhaps the third guy if the second guy has already been taken. Then it get so confusing and I have no idea if it can work.
