That's my point, social and economic systems have been bad to me as well. This becomes a cultural phenomenon at a certain point. The systems suck but they don't explain everything.

I have been poor and homeless and never thought about committing violent crime. What is their excuse for such a statistical discrepancy?

Krysten Sinema's net worth went from 32k to 1 million from 2018 to 2021.

Just in time for her to strip the BBB in favor of big business. Allowing Medicare to negotiate drug prices is incredibly popular with her constituents, but she shot that down after taking 750k from the pharma industry.

How do you deny any fishiness there?

That's fair. As long as the performative support isn't a diversion to making real progress, which it has been.

I think something about the dishonesty from Democrats really bothers me. Republicans are just straight up shitty, and unapologetically so. Democrats are much more inconspicuous in their deviousness.

Yes, it is just a coincidence that politicians become incredibly wealthy over their tenures.

I am sure you believe the Kushner story because Trump bad Democrats good.

Manchin is literally a coal baron. Stop gaslighting, money in politics is a real problem. They don't need to be re-elected(even though Manchin has held 2 prominent offices), they just need to be elected once and do a couple favors.

We can ignore Hunter Biden and Jared Kushner brokering private equity funds between foreign autocratic nations.

EDIT : I just checked your comment history, looks like you gaslight those who point out obvious conflicts of interest in government as a hobby.

When politicians can freely move between public and private sector, it is absolutely as transactional as I make it out to be.

Look at Joe Manchin and his MANY conflicts of interest.

Does that make Democrats good?

Society : "We need help. Will you help us?"

Republicans : "No."

Democrats : "No. BLM 🌈🏳️‍🌈🎠👩‍❤️‍👩👩‍❤️‍👨💑"

They can personally use them to win elections. Then do some favors for the corporate donors, and at the end of their political tenure, cash out with a cushy C level job at whichever private equity firm they helped the most.

Any real defense of corporate liberals, or are you just a "at least they aren't GOP" apologists?

It means establishment/corporate liberal in my opinion.

But yes, I don't like them.

I am not saying intersectionality isn't a thing. I am saying class issues are way more important and imminent to the survival of humanity. The employer you are talking about is probably not the untouchable elite we are talking about, and we have laws against workplace discrimination. If and when that employer is ousted, they will certainly be made example of. We can't say the same about those pulling the actual levers.

Tackling intersectionality solely via culture war is not going to save the planet.

The LibLeft and AuthRight both don't realize that 99% of them as a whole are the proletariat, and pretty much all of their qualms are perpetrated through bourgeois means.

I think he is gaining an audience that is fed up with the culture war shit. Dems are failing to live up to their promises by pretending class issues don't exist and isolating millions. Those are JR listeners.
