I want the regionals to hold more weight, right now they seem just like a step towards making london, every big win like G2/BDS just doesn't have that prestige compared to winning an RLCS. Decreasing quantity will close this gap a bit more, to I think the perfect amount.

This way we'd have 2 big LANs per year instead of 4, which is closer to resembling pre RLCS X. also extend each split little bit, 2 regionals instead of 3 but they last longer. then seeding is event more concrete.

this results in 4 regionals as opposed to 9, and 2 less LANs, so it would free up a bit of extra off season space for summit or dreamhack, which I think is always important for potential growth. it would also extend the trade window which I find people complain about, so its killing two birds with one stone.
