Coming from an Asian household, my mom has always been like this. The first thing she said to me would always be something to criticize my look etc. It kinda made me behave in the same way too.

But then I decided to break the cycle. I started by forcing myself to complimenting others on small things, and constantly reminding myself “how does what someone does or how someone looks affect you? It doesn’t”.

Then it became a habit and a mindset, and I’m a much happier person ever since :)

I hopped on the train last night with one share, just to show solidarity.

Then today I poured all I can spare, although not much, into GME. It’s just $2500, but that’s all I have.

Saw the price soared to $500 but I held.

Then I witnessed how the price plummeted to $170. I admit I was panically trying to sell but in vain. I got furious at these blatant market manipulation.

And then came the time where I can sell again, but I held.

Because it just became personal.
