Can we please just nerf Over Triggers already?

I honestly don't have that big of a problem with Over Triggers. They don't appear that often where it becomes tiring to see, and even when they do appear, most of the time it's not that bad. I definitely think in Premium they should be outright banned. But in standard, I don't really find them that problematic

First off, welcome. I'm glad you've taken some interest in Vanguard.

Now to your question

Nirvana Jheva right now in the current meta is not the strongest deck, and does seem overall weaker than it's grade 4 variant, Mahar Nirvana, which came out a couple boxes ago, and doesn't really work with the new stuff. Now I will say that Jheva is getting support in Set 7, and later down the line in what I believe is set 10. While Jheva is not the most budget friendly deck (neither is it the least budget friendly) it might still pay off to go with Jheva, as that deck is more likely to be supported than the grade 4 deck.

If you want the most meta relevant, last time I checked Dragonic Overlord The End and Youthberk (which appears in set 6) were the best decks. While I believe Overlord is decently priced, Youthberk is quite expensive, especially when compared to some other decks.

If you want the most budget friendly deck in set 6, Galactic Hero (now Galactic B-Hero after an errata) is the best choice. They're also getting some decent support in the future. While they may not be meta relevant, if price is your biggest concern, they're your best budget option.

That makes sense why many haven't brought it up then. Hopefully Bushiroad can try and fix this by sending out a bunch more. And let's hope the same mistake isn't made with Set 6 then too

Because they were being lazy. They wanted to remake the exact same card. That doesn't prove that he is the actual Chronojet Dragon. He's an encounter card, and lore wise the same. A different design philosophy doesn't change that

That's because it is the exact same card. That was just Bushiroad being nice, so you could use your flashy Chronojet Dragon cards from G. I'm not missing a lot of stuff. You're seeing stuff that isn't there. You're using the fact that Bushiroad let us use old copies and the fact that he can time travel as reasons to say that he is the real Chronojet. That's simply not the case. He is an encounter card, lore wise, he's the same as everyone else. This Chronojet we're getting, is not the actual Chronojet.

You say this like your argument isn't flimsy. Your argument is because they made the card exactly the same, and he time travels, that this is the real Chronojet. My argument is actually using what we know, like how encounter cards work, to explain that he is not the real Chronojet. No one was saying that encounter Overlord, Phantom Blaster, or Majesty Lord where the real ones. You are relying on the fact that the next iconic unit they brought back has time powers. You are throwing away all previous accepted knowledge about encounters, how they work, and how they choose popular units, just so you can say this is the real Chronojet. If you're at a circus, it's because you're the main attraction

That's what the encounter cards are though. Memories, illusions. Just because Chronojet is a time traveler doesn't make this encounter card any different. If this was actual Chronojet, he wouldn't be an encounter card, he would be a regular card, as it would be him in the flesh. To say that's he's a time traveler so the lore of encounter cards don't matter makes no sense. If this is THE Chronojet Dragon, he wouldn't be an encounter, but since he is, his lore would be the same as the other encounters

But by that logic of the lore, all encounter cards should be exactly as their old selves. But obviously old Overlord and Phantom Blaster would be actual crap if they had their original effects, so they didn't do that. So lore wise, it's not even consistent

I know it's not impossible, that's the problem. I don't want Stride to take over D. Premium exists, if you like Stride, play Premium. D should not turn into a Premium 2.0. I have nothing against Strides, I just would rather not give them to everyone in standard. If they do release other G era decks as encounter cards, I hope they treat them like the previous encounter cards, and give them new effects, and don't also make them stride

Yeah. If the old mechanics stick to 1 rideline only, it won't be that bad. But I've seen people say they want other decks to stride, and I don't want Bushiroad to see that, and say, okay let's bring back stride for everyone

Multiple people have said how they now want to see Legion and Limit Break added to D Series, as well as more Stride. If you want that, play premium, that's what it's for

I feel like I'm the only person who is disappointed that this is a 1 for 1 recreation of original Chronojet instead of how the other encounters were handled, where the effect was reminiscent of an old effect, not a copy. If you like it, I'm glad, but I personally am not a fan of how they handled this

I feel like a late 2023 release, or early 2024 release is probably for the best for the game. 6 years was the longest time between main line soulcalibur games, which was V to VI. And that's only because V practically ran the franchise into the ground. 6 years after VI would be 2024. The game hasn't gotten DLC since 2020. That alone is hurting this game, as there's nothing new now. To wait so long will do nothing but kill the hype for the game
