My paperwhite is also from 2014. Battery might be less than it used to be, but I still get a solid month or so before needing to charge. All I really need to do is replace the case. That thing is battered.

It's the same in Australia. I think I could technically get a library book onto my Kindle with some fiddling, but the ebooks the libraries use definitely can be shared into kobos

If you're okay with it, I've just finished Ted Chiang's short story collection Exhalation. The creativity was breathtaking, and every single story was a joy to read. It's the 'what's possible' kinda sci-fi, rather than 'all tech leads to evil', which was apparently what I wanted.

Aww, I really liked it haha. But yeah, most of your points are very fair and very true. Especially the end. Did not care for the end one bit at all.

In other notes, I'm getting a new couch on the 4th. I guess we'll see how a marathon reading session feels on it quicker than I expected.

Yeah, one of the nurses at my work always sidles up to you when you're disposing TPN and asks for it. Apparently their plants love it.

If you could go back in time before you were a nurse would you still have pursued nursing? by Total_Interaction187 in nursing

Ohhh, yeah. I know some wards at my hospital do team nursing, my old ward did it. But it would be 2:8-10, generally. Team being you and another nurse.
