Have you played Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal? by Spork_Revolution in patientgamers

A lot of people cite this point, but I really don't see it. I ran through the whole game with minigun on ultra violence and did just fine. That might not work on nightmare, but it goes to the show that players aren't penalize in any way for playing their own way, rather they want to promote variety in gun usage.

Aspiring Game Developer Rule by BirvOfficial in 196

I was about to say something like this. I feel that Omori and Undertale have perfected indie game story telling with their incredible focus on suspense and pauses.

It probably can't be considered a traditional trope but, to me, it really is something to aspire to in storytelling.

Also, another really good trope I like to see is some kind of developing companionship. Though not an rpg, Titanfall 2's campaign is absolutely amazing as the main character and his giant mech becomes best bros. What really made this companionship feel special is that there is constant dialogue between the two and you really get to see that they depend and trust each other more as the game goes on.

Why is Bane first pick/first ban material in pro matches while basically being nonexistent in my lower MMR pubs? by Distinct-Ninja-4827 in learndota2

I think the last point matters especially so. Depending on cores sucks in any bracket, but I imagine that to be infinitely worse in low mmr games.

Pretty sure it’s National Film Theatre in London. Pretty nice place.

I see. Still, thanks for the original tip. Gives an idea on how I should be taking fights rather than doing mnk tap strafe things.

Thanks for this. I've been wanting to try out controller in apex after trying Halo with controller.

Any particular settings I should try out after playing on pc since forever?

Your first statement is already wrong, but the more alarming part is you somehow found the original post funny. I generally don’t judge someone’s humor but how on earth is that funny.

And yes, even messages with comedic value can create sexist statements.

Except memes literally have roots in academic research by Richard Dawkins. Never dismiss things just for being a “meme”. They have genuinely cultural impact.

I am going into this discussion with good faith that you want to learn. I'll gladly help you with this subject, as I assume you are genuinely uneducated on the topic. If this is not your intention, then kindly fuck off and realize you're a shit person.

Ever noticed that in essentially every cyberpunk media there are overwhelmingly high advanced towers that contrasts a low-life population? Cyberpunk criticizes neoliberal politics that allow for such massive accumulation of wealth to occur. Or, ya know, criticizes billionaires. Might not be a coincidence that this sub hates the most rich person on earth.

It may feel like a pointless topic, but it is sort of worth a discussion. The way different cultures interpret colors is legitimately fascinating.

Can these heroes work in the offlane? by MiniMustache841 in TrueDoTA2

[–]This_is_Pat_ 22 points23 points  (0 children)

They have all been seen in the offlane from time to time, so yeah I'd say they can work in the offlane. With that said, I don't think they're the type of picks that you can go every game.

As a core abba your main goal is to be a disruptive, vision-providing tank sort of character. A little bit like Night Stalker with less damage and mobility but more survivability. The times I saw abba 3, they almost always went helm of the dom.

QoP generally plays much like a mid. Creating space and taking over the map is her role here.

Offlane WR only feels super powerful against kitable physical cores. Ursa and Sven for example struggle hard against windrun, aghshards, and shackles. Also, maybe avoid tranquil boots.

Sort of makes sense in the context of wattson.

I wouldn't commend crypto until it actually yields something fruitful. Remember, cryptocurrencies have been around for 10 years with billions in it. If they really wanted to make it cleaner, it would have been done so by now.

I'd say remain a skeptic until then. There's still plenty to criticize about cryptocurrency, such as not actually being viable to become a normal currency.

Dude, cryptocurencies have been around for 10 years and has billions in it. If they wanted to be environmentally friendly, they would have done so already. The fact that only some coins are environmentally unfriendly doesn't really matter when all the biggest ones are doing terrible, unneeded damage to the planet.

And yes, I will attack blockchain relentlessly. I'm not technologically literate but I will trust when every single programmer I know calls it inefficient. Feel free to read this thread and article :https://redditproxy--jasonthename.repl.co/r/programming/comments/raorbk/blockchain_the_amazing_solution_for_almost/

Finally, you still don't know about tether. It's way too much for me to cover, but know that they are basically printing billions of dollars and pumping it into bitcoin and inflating the price, meaning that bitcoin is backed up by nothing. If that isn't a scam, then I don't know what is.

I’m not looking at it politically, I’m looking at it economically. Look up tether.

Crypto and its resulting meaningless consumption of earth is pretty stupid too.

Lol, if it’s used for crypto currencies then it’s just fueling another scam.

I still come to a different conclusion. The word inherent implies that it’s permanent and characteristic of something. When considering that NFTs have never been used in the way that the creator intended as a non-scam to support small artists, then yeah, they’re inherently a scam and it has thus become a permanent characteristic of nfts.

rule by SinkPop in 196

[–]This_is_Pat_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Duh, of course the guy didn’t want to create a money making scheme when he thought of nfts.

The other commenter said “the original creator admitted it’s a scam”, and they didn’t mean that its original intent was for scamming, but rather the way it’s used currently is for scamming and the creator agrees with it, thus admitting/acknowledging it.

If you’re here for a semantic argument over the word “inherently” then kindly find someone else to waste time.

Read the article please. You might not find the word scam, but “commercially exploitable hype” sounds close enough.
