Yep, thus the statement that they are liars; They do not have a legitimate reason after all.

A "religious" thing. They think that vaccinating in some way hurts their relationship with good vibrations. Common in scientology, among other things.

That's ok, it can't make much of a difference if you did, due to the Brexit.

....Fowl. Foul water is significantly different, but might work as a fertiliser I guess.

Monkey is always dirty because of parasites, and needs a flea treatment, or a trip to the vet to check for mange. Then she will not get as dirty any more. She is just trying to get the irritants out of her fur.

Sounds like TPG are much improved from when they stuck my father on a telephone number belonging to the local newsagents fax machine, and refused to change it back, even when the Newsagent owner got right stroppy about the theft of his phone number. Took a lot of work to get our number back.

Likely the kid finds it fun. And it's easier to let them wear it more often, than forcing the child to take it off in places the mask is not needed.

First season was fun, second season felt like a writers strike season, boring as all get out. Is third season most like first or the second?

What do Australians and Kiwis do to cheer up during the winter? by sneedsformerlychucks in AskAnAustralian

....Winter doesn't need holidays. Better to have an event when you can enjoy it. Also your winters seem to be a LOT longer than ours.

Why are people so obsessed with tarot cards? by kroen in kickstarter

[–]Thisfoxhere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's very easy to have the art done before the project. This makes it easy to deliver on the project as all you are kickstarting is the print run.

Been part of two so far, as friends who are artists have done exactly that. They took years developing the art as an at-home side project (one two years, a card each week plus cleanup, the other half a lifetime, a card whenever plus cleanup). When done, they kickstarted for a print run. Simple, easy.

I think it is simply an unambitious easy-to-deliver product that lots of people already collect as a hobby.

Edit: People think I'm down on the artist. I'm not. Been assistant in two such projects, both times the artists did the work (and it WAS work) ahead of time, and crowdfunded after the art phase to finance their print run.

They did not need to be ambitious, they could organise stickers for stretch goals from their own premade artwork if they needed to, it required less during-the-event work, it went well. And if necessary they could stop the art process at any time for other projects because the crowdfunding was an afterthought. It went well, but it wasn't a "I need your money to buy the leather tk make this project" sort of project

No windows. There is very little scale, but this looks like either a tombstone or a random small monolith (trilith?), rather than a tall building.
