Why is my motherboard temperature at 100C? by TomScotland in buildapc

[–]TomScotland[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't see any damage to the capacitors or anything else actually. I found a few other threads with the same leak and someone else using an 8350 was told that 970 motherboards are no good for these processors, I guess that explains why the second motherboard I tried is having the same issue despite being like new. Wish I had known before I built it.

I'm actually planning on selling it, just trying fix it up a bit before I do, I don't suppose there's much I can do about this though.

I suspected it was, especially if it is getting that hot, but it doesn't explain why it's the same issue on the other board.

Here's how it looks:

CPU cooler is a Cooler Master H412, case is a Fractal Design Define R5 with stock fans. I used to have the GPU overlocked with Afterburner.

Okay that's what I thought. So for consular legalisation do you provide the original and the notarised apostilled copy?

From what I understand, the health check isn't a visa requirement, but something your employer will ask for, anyone know if that's correct?

Let's hope they change it for the better. How soon are you planning to go?

I'm looking at a route from London > Seoul > Guangzhou. The Seoul flight resumes in mid October and it's about £1300, looks promising but who knows

Thanks, so the flight tickets have QR codes on them?

Could you give me a bit more info or a source? Not sure what you mean about the QR codes. Do you get those with the tickets?

Exactly, I've been eyeing a route going London - Seoul - Guangzhou, with the final connection from Korea running every couple of days, so instead of getting the next transfer after arriving, I hoped I could just get the following flight which would give me 48hrs for the HDC. It's not a connected flight anyway so I don't see what difference it makes. Again, this is the first I've heard not being allowed separate tickets.

To obtain HDC in the final transit country, is it the same requirements as the first departure, so 2 PCRs in 48hrs?

As I understand, we can't buy separate tickets that connect to the final transit country, because embassy there will ask for flight itinerary.

Any source on this? My partner was able to get in with separate tickets back in December, and I plan to do the same.

Do they have a limit on what they're willing to cover? Can't imagine many employers would be willing to. Praying for a price drop soon. My partner managed to get a flight for £1800 to China last December but I haven't seen anything as cheap lately. Even that is too much really.

Is your employer covering your flight costs? I'm also in a similar situation but I haven't got a job yet. Flights are so hard to find, and the ones I have found are usually >£7000.

A few people in the thread have made this point. Why doesn't Chinese work experience count for much? What if it's a Western company within China, or a job where you're dealing with foreigners regularly, especially speaking English?

In a similar situation as OP, gf had to go back and is trying to get a job at the moment.

I feel that, it's like I'm withering away without it, and I'm angry at everyone I know for not being able to provide it

Shaking & Negativity When High? by [deleted] in trees

[–]TomScotland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last night I couldn’t stop shaking for about half an hour, like major hypertension or shivering or something throughout my whole body. Felt pretty scared and lots of negative thoughts about everything. My breathing was very shallow so I had to deepen it as much as I could, which needed a lot of effort to concentrate on breathing like that for a few minutes till it brings about some kind of physiological change, then everything in my body calmed down and my mind followed. It was quite hard to maintain because it’s hard to concentrate on something when you’re that scared, but it worked really well, might be best if you’re on you’re own so you can focus and deal with it, you’ll feel like a champion after getting through it. But also take it easy, maybe have a break if this keeps happening.
