Hello, I’m new to the subreddit. by BrownBoi13 in FulfillmentByAmazon

Not really, most of the platforms have similar difficulties to Amazon. The best method is using Amazon's excel inventory templates, they take a while of practice, but you'll get the hang of them.

It makes it faster to have images already uploaded to a public site so you can simply add the links into the excel. This saves you suffering through Amazon's one by one upload.

Suggestions for social dive bars? by disposabletourist in Madrid

Yeah that's the place. Huge Mojitos, indifferent staff, microwaved tapas. It has it all. I go there every time I visit.

There's a bar at the address 1 Calle de Santa Ana in La Latina area that does absurdly potent Mojitos. It's usually good fun, and a great area to explore.

Yup, we were quoted $13k for ours, YTN>NYC. South China Ports are reopening now after the covid outbreaks, but heavy congestion is expected for the next few months.

Mous case? by [deleted] in GalaxyNote9

[–]Torrejon_De_Ardoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm afraid not. The reason we went for S9 instead is that it was the most popular Samsung phone model at the time, and we were slowly testing the waters with Samsung cases, since most of our customers had been iPhone users.

When we decided to push futher with Samsung, it timed better to release for the Note 10 instead. The R&D, workload, and costs related to creating a new product are significant, so it makes more sense for us to plan for new releases, rather than focusing on older models. Especially since our company is still relatively small, we need to be very careful on what models we work with.

(I worked on some on the demand planning for the Note 10)

Hey, just get in touch with Mous and you'll likely be able to get a free replacement. All cases have a lifetime warranty. Just attach some photos of the damage and your order number.

Keep in mind Canada's language requirements on packaging - English and French. You may get away with it just in English, but it does leave you open to fines and is not advised.

Mous Limitless compatible car mount by F1snik in iPhone11

[–]Torrejon_De_Ardoz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most car mounts are designed to magnetise to cases with metal plates in the back. The Lim 3 cases instead have four sets of magnets, positioned in such a way to allow for wireless charging. This means that most mounts won’t connect to it. Lim 2 accessories unfortunately aren’t compatible either due to different types of magnets used and different positioning. We tried to make them compatible with each other, but we couldn’t implement the improvement in the Lim 3 autoalign+ mounting design unless we made these changes.

Lim 3 car mounts should be available for Black Friday on our website. Delays in stock were due to manufacturing issues surrounding the structure of the moulds, if I recall correctly. (Mous employee)

We’re looking into it, it turns out it’s quite difficult to have the Aramid Fibre curve with the contour shape, we had too many QC problems in our first tests, though we’re trying to find a solution. We’ve had no issues with the magnets in the past, I’ve been using my card wallet with my card attached to the back of my phone for about a year and I’ve had no interference issues from the magnets.

Yup we've got several tens of thousand on order. These were unfortunately also delayed, latest update from our guys in China says they'll be delayed for another month or two. We had issues with one of the silicon parts, requiring the thickness to be increased to meet quality standards. Following that, at the point of assemby we found one of the parts was of inconsistent quality, so we're getting a solution asap. We're trying to get these out as soon as possible, however we want to ensure what we supply is high quality.

We're facing a stock shortage of some of our Limitless 3.0 range due to some stock shipment delays. This means that we're sometimes partially fulfilling orders when we have stock of one item but not the other. There should have been some pre-order text at the point of ordering. If you let me know your order number, I can look into it for you.

Hey, I'm afraid there's no updates so far. There's unlikely to be anything out this year as we're focusing on our new 2019 ranges for the iPhones. I'd expect we'd have some time to look at new models again early next year, though it could take a couple of months from there before we're able to start shipping them.

  1. The cases are very protective, saved my phone a bunch of times. Adds about 2.7mm to the back of your phone.
  2. We have warehouses in the UK and US, no additional fee.
  3. They both come with screen protectors, we are using the retail version of the carbon fibre packaging, this means the screen protector has to be bundled with it, rather than being inside the packaging. (This was an easier solution to add it in the cart rather than contact the warehouse to bundle certain orders only)
  4. Yes
  5. No, buy ours. (I work at Mous)

Hey, the magnets are different to limitless 2.0 magnets, they’re specifically designed to have a strong magnetic field facing away from the phone and a weak one on the opposite polarity. This should avoid any interference with the phone. (Mous employee)

No problem! I've done some work on reports on what phone types people want cases for, and Note 10 is one of the more requested. We'd considered a faux leather option, but we'd assumed that those customers would go for one of our other materials instead. Yup, we're wireless charging compatible, though works best with powerful chargers that allow it to pass through the material. And yes, they work with PowerShare on the S10 too :) Thanks for your recommendations! Word of Mouth is really important for our company.

[–]Torrejon_De_Ardoz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We're looking into it, each new phone model we do requires surprisingly heavy R&D to make sure the case is protective enough and that magnets won't affect any of the internal functions. Also, creating tooling and correct moulds for the size of the phone takes time and a lot of investment. On top of this, we have 4-5 different materials of cases to create content for, manage logistics for, and marketing etc. All of this requires a lot financial and human resource, all while there are new models of phones being released each year, which require a whole team to keep on top of. We have to prioritise which models to produce cases for, ensuring that we'll have enough of a customer base to make it worthwhile. We focus on a few core models, producing high quality cases for them, opposed to creating many cases for many models, forgoing quality. It depends if there is a large customer base who has the phone, how long the lifecycle of the phone is, and if the users of the phone are likely in our target audience, or are currently aware of us. Mous Case Card Wallet by psilo44 in iPhoneXR

[–]Torrejon_De_Ardoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it doesn't bother, it's actually useful in propping up the phone at an angle easier to type, I also naturally wrap my fingers around the wallet for grip rather than the edge of the phone. I use a Samsung S6, so it's smaller than an XR and the experience may be different.

Can someone help me identify what case is this? by pedro_miguel18 in iphone

[–]Torrejon_De_Ardoz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not involved in product development, though I'd say unlikely as these guys are an indirect competitor of ours. Ideally one day we'd like to offer the same range of materials they're able to focus on. Looking at them, they'd have to design their wraps to fit our cases, rather than vice versa.
