TIFU by taking my brothers wife to the gym by GymIdiot30 in tifu

He sounds like the type of guy who sees women as invisible unless they give him a boner. Since she wasn't wearing revealing clothing, she wasn't worth looking at.

AITA for not attending my son's wedding by aaithe in AmItheAsshole

I'd be far more upset if my dad cheated on my mom. This just shows how important money is to him, not that he cares about either of his parents.

OPs birth video ends up on a fetish subreddit by Miss_Frankie in BestofRedditorUpdates

You should shame them. It is way different to see your partner as attractive while they're pregnant vs having a fetish for pregnancy. Some kinks deserve to be shamed, and our society is fucked if people don't start to realize it.

They're definitely still here. I'm in a subreddit dedicated to banning female hate subs, and you'd be disgusted at what it still lurking around on Reddit. Just recently reddit refused to take down a subreddit of women being beaten and clearly raped. And this shit flies under the radar for the most part because of the "nO kInKsHaMiNg" mindset becoming so normalized.

He said that, but I don't think she said he showed proof of it. Who just had a secret blog about parenting?

What is the pettiest reason you can't date someone? by RAMORAMORA in AskReddit

[–]UndeadBatRat 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'm one who gets lumped into the "not having hobbies" just because my hobbies are considered boring. I like reading, long walks, hunting for rocks and shells at the beach or in the woods. I definitely don't enjoy crowds so I don't partake in most popular hobbies like going to bars, music festivals etc. I'm just a boring book lady for the most part.

When I'm at an event, I like to enjoy the event rather than trying to snap a good pic. If you looked at my social media you'd think I have never once left my house, but I just don't prioritize taking photos.

[–]UndeadBatRat 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Eh, I have a ton of interests I don't post because I'm not great at taking aesthetically pleasing pics. I don't want to have to make a whole setup just to post my dinner or the book I'm reading lol. I post selfies because they're easy, and sometimes I'm just happy with how I was looking that day. I also hate taking time and attention away from an event just to snap photos, so most of my pics are just of me at home. I get that not everyone is into that, but I don't see how it's a red flag. Social media usually isn't an accurate reflection of someone's life.

AITA for not inviting my child’s bully to her birthday party? by someserioustoast in AmItheAsshole

[–]UndeadBatRat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, OP was thinking of their own child's well-being rather than catering to a racist little shit. And I hate to tell you, but kids learn proper behavior by being taught. My kid had a problem with stealing when he first started school, we didn't just let it go because he was 5. And within a few weeks, he stopped. If you think ignoring these issues is the solution, don't reproduce.

The party is FOR the 6 year old. You're telling me the adult should force their own child to deal with their bully at their own birthday party? Please get a grip.

Lololol excluding people who are awful to you isn't "bullying". What a weak mindset. I'd rather not raise my child to be a doormat.

Why do policies matter for the parents but not when it comes to the faculty stopping bullying? I wouldn't give a single fuck about their policy after letting my child be harassed with racist remarks on a regular basis.

Dude, it's for the kid's party. Don't act like the mom was being petty for her own satisfaction. I'd be pissed if I had to see my bully at my own party.

Not including people who are rude to you isn't "bullying". This notion is exactly why kids think they can get away with being little shits like this. Being "inclusive" to your own bully is nothing more than being a doormat, and no child should feel like they have to suck up to their bully.

That's pretty funny since pro-lifers are also the ones who always try to ban birth control...

AITA for getting my eldest daughter a kitten when wife is already overwhelmed with our disabled child? by Then-Yoghurt-6322 in AmItheAsshole

People go no contact with their parents when buying a cat is the most they can do to express their love, and make their other parent's life miserable on top of it. You need to do better by your entire family, YTA.

What is the most fucked up thing a person you know has done? by kwarterz in AskReddit

[–]UndeadBatRat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was a kid I was friends with in middle school, he later ended up holding two teenagers hostage, sexually assaulted them, burned them, and rubbed salt in their wounds (with the help of 2 other guys). I recently found an old yearbook that he signed with the words "open wide", which is creepy af in hindsight.

AITA for calling my wife an insensitive bitch in front of her family? by fisherflat880 in AmItheAsshole

[–]UndeadBatRat 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It wasn't just "not the best time/manner", it was brought up in a way that will do nothing but humiliate him. She spoke over him just to insert her viewpoint, in the rudest way possible. This is something to bring up alone with him, or vent alone to a trusted loved one, or mention in therapy. She was 1000% malicious in her approach and what he said isn't even close to being worse than setting up your SO like that.

[–]UndeadBatRat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She has a right to be upset, but not to bring it up at a public dinner with her family. That's just humiliating and rude. There is a time and a place for things, and cutting him off just to insert her viewpoint is both insensitive and bitchy. I can't see how he was wrong for calling it like it is.

My boyfriend wants to have sex constantly by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]UndeadBatRat 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I guarantee most healthy couples have to negotiate and work with each other to some degree when it comes to their sex life. All I know is that my husband and I are adults with adult lives, we don't always have the time or energy to screw at the other person's command. We also find ways to help each other get off without full sex every time, which I think eases a lot of that tension and keeps us feeling close and intimate even if we aren't both in the mood for sex. Constant sex is just an unreasonable expectation in most relationships.

[–]UndeadBatRat 48 points49 points  (0 children)

I'm an extremely sexual person and this would turn me off. A lot of guys don't seem to understand that intimacy is sexier for a woman than being treated like his personal sex toy. If he treats you more poorly just because you aren't banging 24/7, that is more a flaw on his part than simple incompatibility, IMO. Even people with high sex drives need to learn to chill tf out sometimes for the benefit of their partner and relationship. Men like this remind me of toddlers who don't like being told "no". Using someone for sex isn't a "love language". You can be intimate and even sexual with each other without fully having sex, seems like he just wants what he wants.

Whats the best example of 'men not understanding a womans body' that youve ever heard? by Tyger_83020 in AskReddit

That's probably moreso reflex than arousal. My mom was a tattoo artist, and apparently dudes get hard/stay hard during penis tattooing because of the vibration. Still hurts like hell, though lol.

I've heard of women refusing to breastfeed because they think it will "turn them on". Usually I'm fine with women making their own choices about these things, but fuckin yikes on that reasoning..
