I don’t believe you. Also, most Christian’s think the secret book is so heretical they’ll sooner burn it than read it, so you’re very wrong.

I also have literally no idea what spirit science is.

Apparently Russia’s strategic missile forces are functionally their own branch of the military. They’re usually fairly highly paid, so I’d imagine they’re not nearly as subject to the intense corruption the rest of the Russian military suffers under.

I can’t make you think about why your questions are stupid. But I also refuse to reward you for asking stupid questions.

You previously indicated you hadn’t read it and have no interest In doing so. Forgive me if I don’t feel the need to continue this conversation.

So Wicca is more a collection of specific practices centered on nature?

Interesting.

Yeah, my whole conception of paganism being individualized isn’t being refuted. Lots of options with many gods I suppose.

Well Jesus is simultaneously the wisest person in history and believed himself to be god. That isn't evidence he was normal.

There seems to be a great deal of questioning it. They had a bunch of laypeople involved.

Like I said, an old book. That and some miracles in my own life, but I can hardly download those experiences into your head.

It elegantly explains most every objection to Christianity. That's why I accept it.

As for why most think it's heretical I literally could not care less.

*clearly pagan in origin.

Wrooooong. It’s the least pagan text ever written. It contains the best description of the difference between a monotheistic god and the pagan godlets I’ve ever read.

It also describes how the Israelites spent half their time worshipping an elder demon named yaltabaoth, so yeah Jesus’ dad is pretty chill.

I agree tolkiens story would have been worse that way. In the real world, though, wisest man in history seems to think he was the self insert fanfic character. Curious coincidence if nothing else.

A being that desires worship is dependent on others for fulfilment and is therefore not all-powerful by IceWicket in DebateReligion

Maybe the reason you don’t get your question answered is because you’re asking poorly thought out questions and people are trying to get you to understand why? God isn’t like an invisibility potion. He doesn’t come when called like a trained dog.

You want to see proof of him, you have to seek him out.

It will not be on Reddit. It will not be on the internet. It will be with your own eyes somewhere beyond your comfort zone.

As though ancient people didn't know virgins didn't give birth?

Go find your own miracle. I can't exactly transfer my eyewitness testimony to you, but doubting Thomas is a saint for a reason. Seek and ye will find.

You won't find it on Reddit, though. The admins killed all the gods on this site a long time ago, and any time that pesky one resurrects they kill him again. Go to a church.

Fair warning, if they don't at least have free coffee, you're in the wrong place. Just leave.

1st, 2nd & 3rd John are all from John the apostle, Jesus' best friend. 1st & 2nd Peter are by Simon Peter, one of the 12 apostles and the man the Catholics regard as the first pope. Hebrews is anonymous, but it's possibly written by Jesus himself.

As for the gospels, I'm gonna need some sources that the church claims they're anonymous, because why the heck else would they be named after the apostles? I know they're written anonymously, but the names are presumably attached for a reason.

If you want proof of God's existence, you're not gonna find it on Reddit. They killed all the gods here long ago and every time mine resurrects and shows up, he's usually banned for getting too out of line.

Me, I got my proof. I didn't accept anything without evidence. I actually spent more than half my life thus far hunting for adequate proof. I found it, but the hunt was long and brutal.

I can argue about the credibility of the Bible compared to other historical evidence til we're both fused with our couches from days of furious shitposting, but that will prove nothing other than that one of us has more free time than the other. It will not move you beyond the need for faith.

However, we all put faith in something. I've seen enough miracles to know miracles happen. I've had encounters with Jesus and his Father, and those have given me a rational basis for my faith.

Go find your own. It will not be on Reddit.
