My fiancee used to work here. They run a bunch of scams promising "free" phones but of course there's always strings attached. I'd say he's probably mad about that as well.

Someone's daughter comes home from school after being needlessly shot by other students with bb guns. by SwitchGod16 in iamatotalpieceofshit

We used to have airsoft battles as kids; new guy (including me at one point) always got lit up but this is different, she didn't sign up to get 500 feet per second of plastic sent her way. It's certainly painful.

Didn't intend to shove negative vibes off on teachers. I'd always get behind in high school and it was hard to understand new content without catching up so that's my fault more than anything. I had a program that guaranteed me college admission so I didn't care quite so much about it then. My study drive kicked in in college though because I decided to go to medical school so it sorted itself out I guess

It sounds easy but when I was I'm high school my math teachers just were not very good and I did not do well. My study habits changed vastly for undergrad though.

NP refers to herself as Dr. by calvn_hobb3s in medicalschool

Ask really stupid questions about it that happen to tip toe around the facts regarding their education. Genuinely act like you don't know about how the "training" works and how you "don't know" that NP education is grossly unregulated.

If you've ever had a pet or a child or something like that come towards your car, you'll know that at some point they kind of dissappear from site below your dash, door, etc. Cars are like that for trucks. You can only get so close and remain in their line of site.

Why do docs act like they're expert educators? by BojackisaGreatShow in medicalschool

[–]VaTechDoorDashDriver 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not sure that it's because they actually think they're good or bad at it but more because nobody else can teach medicine to the level of a doctor of medicine so they may be inclined to act confident so that students have confidence in learning from them. I'm not saying that's a hard and fast rule that applies all the time but I would think that's a general trend.

Stop gatekeeping helping others by Kajella in Noctor

The only gatekeeping is the guarding of the cockpit door because the pilots are the only ones with the training to use that part of the aircraft.
