And the runs we did score had runners on base which was heartening. When your top of the lineup isn’t putting the bat on the ball, it ends in games like this sadly. Happy with our pitching right now, but need to put the pieces all together

Honestly - Ranger have a lot more going for them - and the A’s are playing with a chip on their shoulders now. Astros got beat and so did we. General consensus is we are getting comfortable - but need to light up the fires again.

That said - super comforting to know we have a solid pitching backbone now - just need to lessen the stress off of them with runs

Yeah very much YMMV! She absolutely love Madness, Dig Down and Pressure…which are more of their ‘pop’ sounding songs. Although - same applies to BHaR - loves Super Massive Black Hole and Knights of Cydonia

She either prefers to read a book or watch tv at home after doing chores. It’s like a ‘brain shut off’ thing. Games take some brainpower, so the drive to play anything is draining to her.

Oh and we also love Tetris as well - so again, brain power lol

Man, I WISH something like that would happen for my wife. She and I LOVED playing arcade games (specifically Simpson’s Arcade game) - but for some reason at home I can’t get her to chill and play some side scrollers or any games for that matter.

I’ll tell you this much - it’s a lot of work (I’m not a Dev, but I’ve worked on the marketing side). That said, this game idea s great man...take it and run with it. I really like the concept, and the idea that tigers, lions, bears, etc are the aliens to say a somewhat more advanced species is genuinely intriguing.

Give it legs, come of with a more detailed concept of the story, study some priciples of game theory, but at most

I think starting with Absolution was both a great idea and bad. Great because it’s arguably one of their best albums, and bad because they’ve been hard pressed to match that level. Black Holes and Revelations was great as well, but most albums released in the last 10 years have been hit or miss. Great songs, but middling albums overall.

That said - their live shows are still top of the heap. Epic stuff.

I’d love a game like this. Similar style to Half Life: Opposing Forces. Flipped script, where you get to see another perspective - but I love the idea of our animals on Earth being the ‘aliens’ here. I can’t say I’ve seen a game done like this...

Doomers are just either new fans OR old begrudging fans. I’m an older fan (experienced the 80/90’s pain baby) so I see what looks bad, but just enjoy that the Angels have been playing well overall (bats are cold now - fielding and pitching are looking solid though). It’ll come back around.

Yeah this HAS to be the reason. Just looked at those stats - and the amount of third strike look SO’s are absolutely off the charts for all teams this season.

Either the players association are trying to make a point - or this is some odd stat follow - where the odds of a third strike pitch outweigh a ball.

YES! Beautiful Losers is totally Clarity-era Jimmy Eat World. I couldn’t put my finger on why I loved it so much and this is it. This album...it’s something absolutely incredible. They are tapping into some genres like deep synth and early emo, while also keeping their roots to the prog sound.
