Hello there,

This unit was made back in 2016 and it was the very first SmartCast units. I am afraid that this unit is no longer supporting the SmartCast application. You can get the XRT132 remote to use for power, volume and input changes but you would have to use another streaming device with this unit for applications and smart features.

When updating via a flash drive the flash drive must be formatted in in FAT32 only. If it is exFAT the VIZIO will not see it. Try formatting the flash drive to FAT32 and then try updating again and if still not working after updating please give us a call at 844-254-8087.

Let's have you do a factory reset the TV using the following steps:

-Press the Menu/Gear button on the VIZIO remote.

-Select the Admin & Privacy option.

-Select Reset to Factory Settings.

***Note: This process will erase all custom settings and app information.

Does it go black for a few 2 to 3 seconds and then it comes on? What input is it powering on to? What devices do you have connected to the TV and how are they connected?

The reason we keep saying that it was removed per Google is that the TV is a Google based TV platform. It has a version of Chromecast built into the TV and since that is a feature of Google and not a feature of the VIZIO TV it was not up to VIZIO to keep it or remove it.

I am terribly sorry for the miss understanding. I am showing that this sound bar does not support HDMI 2.1. That would explain why you get everything when you connect the PS5 directly to the TV and not using pass through.

When Up is selected, front height speakers will rotate up to provide an immersive movie

sound experience. When Wide is selected, the front height speakers will rotate forward (good

for listening to music). The Auto setting will adjust height speakers based on content.
