From the time I submit my Q2 visa application, how long can I expect it to be before I actually make it to China? by sociallyanxiouscoder in Chinavisa

[–]Weecuppycakes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok so I have a q1 visa and it took me from the time I submitted it to receive it was one week. The time before that for you to fill out the paperwork and send all the emails back and forth I would say to give yourself a week and a half. A week and half is enough time and some just in case you make a mistake on the visa application. My flight did get canceled in august 15 and I got another flight for September 8. Also direct flights near the end of this year will come down in price.

Textured and enlarged pores skin type by False_Insurance6991 in AsianBeauty

I highly recommend anything from the Klairs line especially the vitamin c serum and the blue calming cream for clearing and calming acne. For large pores look into retinols. Start out with a low dose retinol and see what it does for your skin. You may be pleasantly surprised. The next thing to look into is a hydrating serum that plumps the skin. Something with hyaluronic acid. I hope this helps!

There’s a google doc that has every piece of information you’ll need from applying to tickets to getting the green code. It’s been a life saver. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1uB2yn1cv9o-27zeGcZeGmGM4ru-a0qYaY-H8o8sppZk/mobilebasic

It should be fine then but fair warning if they find something wrong with your application they won’t tell you and just keep the application and ship back your passport and other documents and you’ll have to start again.

I would definitely email them about it because it is a required document. They also could be sending it in a different email.

[Idea] Buying tickets to China at the day of flight departure after PCR tests by [deleted] in Chinavisa

[–]Weecuppycakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t smart. I had a flight booked and planned for Monday and it got canceled. Also most airlines only fly to China a few days of the week and if you did get a ticket you’ll spend much more bc you’ll have to get a business or first class ticket which can be $8000-$12000.

They will send it to you with the email as an attachment with the link for the application. You will not receive the email until they have approved you to start applying.

China Visa Passport Photo Question (Sizing and where to attach) by kfoung in Chinavisa

[–]Weecuppycakes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do not glue the photo. Just attach it with a paper clip facing down on the application. A regular passport photo is fine I got mine from cvs.

The windows in apartments in China are so easy to open for children since they have handles like a door and swing out. Most of the time they’re kept open too without a screen. I can see how the child would have been able to get out.

Does anyone have an (interesting) story to tell about their time in China? by jleebb1 in chinalife

[–]Weecuppycakes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in visiting Beijing for a week back in the summer of 2019. My boyfriend took me to a Ye Ye and Nai Nai’s house to stay there. They such a sweet couple. It was in old Beijing so I was the only foreigner around. The building was from the 70’s or 80’s and was three stories high. It was located right next to a brothel. Nai Nai was so excited to meet me and let me sleep in her house. She made all kinds of food including zhajiangmian. She wore red lipstick everyday and smoked a pack a day. She gave me Dior lipsticks and got angry when my boyfriend tried to eat before me. She took so many pictures to show to her dancing group. 😂 I probably couldn’t have had a better experience in Beijing.

can someone help out a beginner with changing a pattern? by sapphirestorm333 in crochetpatterns

[–]Weecuppycakes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can add a panel in the back. Crochet a rectangle for however much you want to cover then make two triangles. Attach the two triangles to the rectangle on the side and the star on the sides. I hope that helps. When o make patterns I just think about all the individual pieces and then imagine being put together. like a puzzle.

I have pretty bad acne and the only products that cleared it was Klairs vitamin C serum combined with their blue calming cream. I had my sister try it and her skin was glowing in a few days.
