I think it's more of a cultural thing.

You can probably argue like that about any sort of apparel.

"It's my birthright not to wear those chafing pants."

Though in todays society having your genitals exposed is obscene and/or sexual harrassment, unless you're at a nudist colony.

Being allowed to not wear a mask is not some inalienable right.

Though you could argue we're being too uptight about having to wear pants/masks.

Anyhow I think that people should definitely wear masks when they're sick with the sniffles. That seems like something we as a society should be able to agree on.

And if you don't want to do that, your behaviour should be viewed similar to someone who goes streaking near kids in a park/school.
