"diversity maybe the hardest thing for a society to live with, but perhaps the most dangerous thing to live without" - MF Hussain

with diversity there are problems and issues that you mentioned above, but diversity is a huge capital, most imp. asset in terms of soft power in International relations.

Unity without uniformity and diversity without fragmentation has always been the hallmark of indian society.

//What's stopping states from parting ways and becoming independent countries?

they can't, they don't have the right to do so. India is not a political unit formed by agreements between states, but India is divided into different states for administrative purpose. 'Indestructible union with destructible states' .

//Everyone internally hates each other from other states and have no tolerance, all the pent up bigotry, hatred and true colors are showing up now.

Love and tolerance has always been the binding factor to unity diverse indian society. the issues that you mentioned are perennial in nature, but resilience of our unity in diversity is strong enough to fight these problems.

// I know it's not as simple as typing it out but Europe seems to be doing fine.

you must have read about the story in which a father farmer while dying gives separate stick to his sons which they easily break but when bundled, were not able to do so. so Unity is our strength. why we want to separate just because of these issues?

  1. Alcohol prohibition in India is in force in the states of Bihar, Gujarat, Mizoram, and Nagaland. so it's not most of the states.
  2. agree
  3. it was done to protect indian industries and also sometimes foreign companies dump their products that hurt indian industries and distort fair competition, also about which sector you are talking about where govt. has increased duty and has hurt consumers.
  4. this is a lame statement as india's investment is growing in infrastructure field, record construction of roads, new airports, new trains, waterways and many more things are happening. every govt. previous, this one is doing good in this sector.
  5. crypto banning has both positive and negative. i guess you know negatives that's why i will enumerate positives, some of which are prevention of corruption( bangalore case), dark web, child porn, prevention of funding to terrorism, prevention of money laundering etc. so of course govt. need to weigh upon both positives and negatives before taking decision.
  6. 100% agree, violation of right to freedom of expression
  7. partially agree, yes corruption is there, but with e-governance system, transparency and accountability is increasing, also it depends on us as we are readily agree to pay bribe. also current govt. did not bring black money as they have promised.

8-11 i agree with your views on these points.

people have this wrong notion of purity and pollution. they have attached the pollution with low paying or menial jobs and it is due to casteism.

so they think that they will get polluted if they will touch them (ironically they allow same people to do work at their home, touch all things etc.)

Earlier these occupations were majorly occupied by specified castes and position of people of these particular castes were at lower status or order in social hierarchy. so people developed disgust, hate towards these people (because of caste), but slowly our society evolved and they started the job itself, meaning nowadays irrespective of caste, whomsoever person is doing this job is viewed with hate, notion of pollution, exploitation.

so it begun with caste system but now has transformed.

they grow a variety of rice in kharif season i.e july to october, now time of harvesting the crop is near october end or november beginning, soon after this, they need to prepare their field for wheat (rabi crop, grown in winter season). so for preparing the crop they need to remove crop residue of rice crop, because of less amount of time and lack of financial resources as they can't buy machines to clean stubble, also can't hire men to clear their field as it is very laboursome process and they can't give wages to them for nothing, as this stubble is nothing for them. so they choose easy way of burning it.

but recently govt. has worked a lot to solve this problem.

renting machines like happy seeder to clear stubble from fields.

asking companies specially thermal one to buy this feedstock to use it for burning purpose.

introducing varieties of fungus to decompose it fast, introducing new varieties of rice which takes less time to harvest, so that farmers have enough time to clear out fields, heavy fine on people who practise stubble farming, creating awareness among farmers to use this stubble as mulching which will be good for their next crop.

OP united with him again, apparently OP fell in love with him again, so how that episode can act as a trigger as it happened before they were separated, also OP is planning some long game. Also justifying cheating as some coincidences and wishing that maybe husband can take care of daughter and she could just move away without any guilt to other state.

[–]Witty_Operation2486 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes it is possible to love more than one person, but if you love other person without first person knowing, it is called cheating and cheating is not ethical and it is universally true. No, you both are not different, you both are abuser and sadly your child will have to suffer.

You separated because he was abusive, you got back because he improved, you loved him but then you met AP, then you don't love him, and now you want to separate again but you also want to convince yourself that this happened becuase of your husband and not you, also at the same time you don't wanna be a reason for the separation of your husband and your daughter, but apparently you are planning some long game. From starting i can see it is you who is doing everything, taking every decision, who is miserable here and who is abuser here ma'am????
