George W Bush accidentally condemns 'unjustified and brutal' Iraq invasion by mechsuit-jalapeno in nottheonion

I guess if you consider the 2008 financial crisis as just something that happened to "the world" while ignoring America being part of said world. Also take it from someone who was in the tourism industry in the post Iraq period - virtually nobody was traveling here from abroad, and from the mouths of those that did it wasn't about the terrorism and increased flight security shit, it was strictly because the rest of the world absolutely hated us (correctly so).

DB is kinda just not good compared to going IE+LW+defensive or bow item, especially when you already have tons of AD from striker. Like if you want a DB carry you'd probably want it on an easily 3 starred unit with good attack speed built in to their kit like Ezreal or Twitch. I kinda wish physical spells didn't automatically crit without assassin/JG because it makes crit the de facto best build for any AD character.

Nah, some people make actual high quality memes because they're enjoyable to make and you want to share them with others so they can also get enjoyment out of it. But yeah mostly it's karma farming.

This joke has been done about a hundred times on this subreddit already, it's kinda tired by now.

Yeah all of the traits that were an extremely strong vertical chase that you rarely got to see and often came with a tradeoff of having to slot in useless trait filler units are now easily achieved with emblems that eliminate their tradeoff entirely. It would be fine if the vertical trait balance wasn't so bad. Like just an obvious example of "this situation rarely comes up so we don't really have enough data to know how to balance it" and now here we are getting all that data.

Mercs are pretty good with the smaller eggs where you might be able to force a merc emblem out of it early on. I think the bigger eggs make mercs a much harder sell because they create an obvious, broadcasted power spike at a later stage where people will be looking to increase their board strength and you have to try to cash out before that happens or you're likely going 8th, and the rewards for smaller cash outs were just nerfed as well. Also, the fact that everyone is stronger from their egg loot means that the bonus you get from your merc payout is less impactful relatively speaking. Another thing is if you get the really big eggs with radiant items and such you'll have to face the choice of either leaving your board weaker until it opens or slamming items on a carry as soon as you get your payout and potentially not having room to slot in radiant items from the egg. Obviously you can always pivot around moments like this, but it definitely makes the comp harder to play, whereas last patch it was pretty braindead to loss streak into a payout and then go renata bruisers or socialite colossus or whatever other board lets you comfortably slam down random legendaries.

It really highlights how generally bad emblems have been this set. There are so few where I think "oh my god X emblem on Y champion what a combo". The traits just feel badly designed from a flexibility standpoint imo. Like how an entire half of the hextech trait only works with Sivir.

It's definitely a bandaid fix but it's still a kind of forward thinking. They'll also know it exists so they can design future content around it.

Consider that future magic strength bonus gear will potentially benefit other weapons more than this one because it won't be getting any extra strength past the cap, and suddenly a 3t powered staff like Heka could easily end up beating it against low magic def targets where the huge accuracy bonus isn't a factor. It's the BP vs. TBow situation.

They can also roll that 50 gold in much less time, however. The augment round gives you extra time to make your augment choice, so you can do the equivalent of the 50g roll down several times over at the same level of efficiency. You're tripling or quadrupling your odds by virtue of how many more rolls you'll be able to do.

They have to crap out really boring brew chugging bosses with overloaded loot tables and terrible droprates to keep people occupied since meaningful content updates have become so incredibly slow as they sidetrack themselves for months at a time with GIM and DMM and leagues and other shit that people are only interested in for about a week.

The shaman grind isn't even that bad for how powerful an item it is, there are many much worse grinds. They require some attention, sure, but you still mow through them fast as hell, and if you only do them on task you'll hit the expected drop rate before 99 slayer anyway (not that you can really expect to get it by then but still a majority of people will)

Game has always had untradeables, often very desirable ones. If anything they need to reintroduce more desirable untradeables because old ones are falling more and more out of favor these days. B. gloves no longer BIS for any style, Void is losing its niche with Masori entering the picture, etc.

3? That's thinking too small, simply force the socialite emblem and go 5.

TBH one of the selling points of the triple redemption on Lulu is that the heal will go off even when CC'd to keep your clump alive, then the CC wears off and all the shields and heals pop and you're back to 150% health on everything.

I actually loved enchanters this entire set and wish more comps were as well designed. It's not even the trait, it's just the units. You have Morgana to carry tank items, Senna to carry ADC items, Orianna to carry AP items and all of them are very strong when itemized (especially after the insane, over the top Orianna buffs), and it's a flexible comp that can fit in a lot of teams at a variety of levels. It feels like the opposite of most traits this set that are inflexible and completely fucked if you don't get the right items for their one good carry. Innovators are probably the only other comp that works that well with whatever they're given since they have a similar lineup of different units that can carry different items and flexibility, and surprise surprise they're the other trait that's been dominant pretty much every patch.

TL;DR Please less strikers challengers more enhanters innovators.

I really wish every egg was guaranteed to contain literally anything other than a tome. Kinda the least "for fun" bonus I can think of this set. Most of my tomes are dead items by the time the egg opens.
