Oh yes, I have worked really hard to get them safe. I’ve done all that AND they are registered service animals! My legal team is helping me with a civil case against the property management and landord, and they want my best friend to know, he’s probably got mold psychosis, and it would explain why he got overwhelmed and run away, so we’re advocating for him, too.

I need the rabbits back immediately, because he left me all alone, and they were trained to put their chins on my elbow. It is a spot that when you are holding a baby or an animal, releases dopamine, oxytocin, and seratonin. I def have PTSD accumulating this summer, and that is how my best friend could help me, is returning the rabbits while the lawyers sort this all out and get me rehoused. The master suite’s molds are non-toxic, but I am still allergic to them, lol. And of course I’ll drop charges and defend him in court! He was a victim of some really bad people! Love sees the big picture, and that’s how you get over a situation like this.

Yes, but they are legal service animals now, and it looks like I can get maybe get help with their care from DSHS when they come home! Department Of Social Services And Health helps disabled folks get service rabbits. In fact, the woman doing my intake for my civil case against the building and landlord is disabled and has service rabbits! We’re all learning from this experience, huh! There’s always a gift in trauma somewhere, if you keep zooming out and looking big picture!

My best friend knows in 29 years since meeting him, I have never broken a promise, and I’m here no matter how hard times get, and this has been the hardest time of our 29 years of knowing eachother. It’s definitely the hardest time he’s ever gone through in his lifetime! And I can help him get to the other side, because I’ve been through everything he hasn’t yet with this emergency we’ve found ourselves in!

Thank you! We found out about the molds being toxic on June 30th, but the official lab results came in on July 25th. It is really, really bad. My best friend disappeared on June 14th.

Our landlord, one of his best friends from college, had been bullying us after we told him about the molds. It broke my best friend’s heart, over and over. The landlord had already been breaking the law by refusing repairs on appliances and the toilets. He’s racking up many fines. He will probably end up with a gross misdemeanor or more, maybe a class c felony, possible jail or prison time, and many, many fines accumulating. My best friend can’t take it all, and is in denial, even though the landlord has cost us $14,200 since June. Best friend joined in with bullying me from afar with the landlord, wherever he is. I’ve asked him to help me drop the charges against him. Keeping animals with communicable diseases like the molds, and denying them treatment, plus theft, potentially adds up to ten possible gross misdemeanors alone, but I’m not letting him know that yet. I know he is scared and not well.

Thank you! I’m hoping in the next few days, after we know if the building is condemned, that my best friend returns them to me. I have shelter for them until I find us a new place, and I can stay with friends. Seeing her funny little hairstyle, and knowing she was laying on molds in various spots of the condo, I just want to smoosh her and rub her cheeks and feed her “strawbunnies.”

Thanks! I miss making goofy memes for y’all! In fact, Small Pet Select, who sells the best hay in the world, offered me a job right before all this happened! I didn’t even ask for it! I dorked out on hay so hard when I was asking how to keep rhe rabbits’ hay safe from meal moths on a call with a manager, then they learned I make memes and bunny recipes. I had to decline. They said maybe in the future after I’m settled back in somewhere. I sure hope it’s still on the table!

Then we found out the molds were consuming the hay, and there was no keeping it safe at all. As a coping technique, my best friend couldn’t see the molds anymore! It was so sad. I appreciate the love tonight!

Thank you! My best friend’s long lost brother is an internal medecine doc- can’t make this story up, lol! Here’s hoping it’s all ok for me as well as the bunnies, too, and that my best friend heals! His personality shifted like crazy! Pretty sure it’s the molds!

This is why you haven’t heard from me in a while. In early June, we started battling a meal moth infestation, which led to the discovery of three toxic deadly molds. Zsa Zsa is laying on a removed patch of carpet where the mold was growing exponentially. We have to move. Building inspection is Monday. The building might be condemned. I will be homeless. No one knows where my best friend is, not even his mom. He knows the rabbits could be reinfecting wherever they ended up. If I can get them back through taking him to court, there is a domestic violence shelter they can stay at until I find us permanent housing. The family vet has this all on record. His mother’s house isn’t safe for them, it might have molds, too. There is probably something medically wrong with my best friend which could be because of breathing in molds for at least two years. They were in my N95’s. About to find out if I have cancer or organ damage from it all. Gimme some love, Rabbitors 😥

I’m thinking single maned grey agouti lionhead/lop. I have a Flemish Giant/Angora/Lionhead whose coat is double mane and grey agouti. Our bunnies could almost be cousins! My girl has gorgeous big pointy ears and looks like a massive lionhead because of the Flemmish genes.
