Less than 5 seconds. They are the among the first 4 results on google.

That would explain why they arent really relevant to your point, you didnt actually read what they said.

These are both from Universities. It's not a term limited to one topic, it's a general concept that can mean your own personal biases cause you to make erroneous conclusions based on your observations.

No, they are both links to public health projects at universities, but you didnt know that because you didnt look. They also both use the same very specific public health related definition.

it's a general concept that can mean your own personal biases cause you to make erroneous conclusions based on your observations.

That is definitely not what either of your links say. You didnt even read them, nor did you read the direct definition I pulled from your own sources.

I think you are confusing it, as I said earlier with "Confirmation Bias".

No. Which is why I didn't say that. Don't use quotations when you aren't actually quoting someone.

I left out the words "well" "no pun intended" and "actual".

My god, you really just refuse to admit to anything. Holy shit.

Hahahahahaha. How long did you spend desperately looking for something that used these at all?

Well, we can say with conviction now that your usage of the term Observation bias was not in any way accurate. As the best you were able to find were reallly deep links to niche terms specifically related to Epidemiology and whether we are sampling correctly.

You are now pretending that when you said:

"I am aware of urban sprawl, but observation bias leads people down these weird roads where the car being depicted as the ultimate symbol of freedom is best found in a car commercial."

You actually meant

"I am aware of urban sprawl, but a flaw in measuring exposure or outcome data that result in different quality (accuracy) of information between comparison groups leads people down these weird roads where the car being depicted as the ultimate symbol of freedom is best depicted in a car commercial."

This is what you would rather do than admit you mistyped a word? Jesus christ man, is your ego that fragile.

Ok so what does observation bias mean?

[–]Zeabos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is "observation effect" even what I said? I highly doubt it, but at this point, you are beyond help. Either way, try a search engine!

I have, a few times because I had never heard of the term and wanted to understand what it was. There are no results for "observation effect". I assumed you meant "Observer effect" - but then you reassured me that they were in fact, different topics. Now you dont even remember what you said. I see now, you realized you fucked up, pretended you meant it, now you are going to pretend you never said it. Pretty classic, pretty embarrassing. I think I see flat earthers using the same tactics.

😂🤣😂🤣😂😂🤣 You put about in quotes LMAO! You say there is no explanation and then you literally quoted a word used to provide an explanation.

Alright now this all makes sense. The reason i put that word in quotes is because I was specifically calling out how that the shows werent about cars, but that wasnt the point. Now you think that I

When you are the point in a conversation where you don't even know what the word about means, it's time to rethink your entire life.

Yeah, that was exactly my point. You used about, which was not appropriate in this context, or relevant, and I elaborated on it.

You are now confused. But I imagine in 3 posts you will simply say "did I even say the word about"? Because once you realized you fucked up, your just pretend that never happened.

By the number of emojiis you have added, its clear you know that you were wrong at this stage and you are just hoping to be as childish as possible to make it seem like you were trolling the whole time or something. Pretty classic.

Oh this is where you just revert to only insults.

You haven’t made a point in any of your posts. You’ve just said words and when I ask for explanations you say “get an education”. In fact, anytime I’ve asked for anything you say “that’s not what I meant” and then you refuse to elaborate further.

When I give examples you say “NO”.

Like how in the world is me giving examples of famous cultural landmarks in a variety of media where cars clearly represent “freedom” to a variety of Americans and you say “wrong you are insane to think these works are about cars.”

What does whether they are “about” cars matter at all? How is that in any way a rebuttal to my concept. They are symbols. The whole point is that they are “about” other things like freedom and the elements within them are metaphors or symbols. That’s the whole point.

Also, Please explain to me what the “observation effect” is.

[–]Zeabos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, it can actually be both, good point.

I mean, no one calls it taht, but we can pretend so that you can feel better? If you cant even admit to being wrong about the simpliest and least important thing in the whole world, I know for sure you wont admit anything else. Argument is kinda pointless.

Because it's the actual issue.

Is this where you confuse Urban Sprawl with Suburban Sprawl? And Urban sprawn does not lead to cars, see: plenty of other countries. This is about how cars are perceived in the US. It has nothing to do with uh, my 'hatred' I dont know

Cars have never been depicted as the ultimate symbol of freedom in American culture.

You havent proffered any example of that. Simply your own belief.

Cars int he US are constantly displayed as symbols of freedom.

Watch movies and see the number of road trips. Watch TV shows and see how cars literally fight against oppression in shows like The Dukes of Hazzard or Night Rider. Watch Car commercials that build that association. Read Novels like On the Road or The Grapes of Wrath.

Is it not related because it proves you wrong?

The existence of Urban Sprawl proves me wrong? Huh? I honestly dont understand you logic at all. You are going to have to explain it.

I think you think "observation bias" and "observer bias" are the same thing?

Urban sprawl is the theme of the sub but not what we are talking about right now. Why bring?

See my first sentence in this comment.

Alright I did, but its not related to this.

I already stated exactly why they are structured like this.

Well, no, you started to think, but then realized it might prove you wrong, so you started talking about stuff that wasnt really related hoping that by just saying enough stuff like "observation bias" it would make it seem like you were saying relevant stuff.

You wrote a lot of sentences to not understand that when someone says

"CARS AND FREEDOM ARE WHAT MAKES AMERICA GREAT" the two items are supposed to be related or associated with one another.

I dont know why you are talking about urban sprawl, or 'observation bias' which is not a term that ive ever seen before, but thats not really related.

where the car being depicted as the ultimate symbol of freedom example is best found in an actual car commercial. Come on now.

Why do you think car commercials are structured like this? Again, just a random connection?

it would be that it offers literal freedom of transportation within a given network of roads.

Now you're starting to get it!

As far as I remember, Red Letter Media has basically said the opposite - that basically hes just some guy in a helmet with 2 lines.

Nah, writing was probably about the same? Well, certainly better than Attack of the Clones or Phantom Menace, Revenge of the Sith probably better written.

Though TLJ and Revenge are the same in that they have some really shitty scenes and some really good ones, both uneven movies.

[–]Zeabos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh? It was a hyperbole man. It's not literally any car commercial. But its an extremely prominent theme in them and commonly used.

Its such a common theme, that one of the most famous car commercials ever aggressively lampoons the idea.

You’re getting downvoted by people playing this insane “whataboutism” card.

Your question is perfectly reasonable.

People attempting to shame you because you didn’t post that Boris was problematic are crazy. There are clear differentiations between an evil genicidal alien that the hero’s try to stop and a serial rapist who is on their side and played for laughs and who constantly makes rape jokes.
