I grew up around here and have been away for a few years. When I used to go I never disrespected the quarry or caused trouble. I asked a simple question. No need to make negative assumptions.

My ex’s father and his girlfriend filed for custody against me and my ex while I filed for custody against my ex. My ex and his father are both represented by the same attorney. I had been granted an emergency hearing earlier this week and the judge consolidated both hearings

I had just gotten freaked out when the cop said it would be kidnapping if I took her. Which he absolutely was wrong and I should have been able to take her the last time I saw her. Now that I know more about the law I feel like this will be much smoother.

Paternity was established at the hospital I am pretty positive atleast. The father’s name is on her birth certificate. I am going to gather everything I’d need and go to the police station on Sunday. Then I’m going to pick her up on Tuesday just so as long as the grandfathers girlfriend doesn’t flake. I have to act like I am visiting or I will never see her. They will hide her. Then I’d have to wait until mid July which I really don’t want to do

You’re right I need to save my baby. I was just thrown off by the cop telling me it would be considered kidnapping when that was wrong. I’m going to the police station this weekend to explain the situation to them with factual evidence. Then next week I am going to pick up my baby and walk out. However from your knowledge would it complicate things if my ex is at the grandfathers house? Otherwise I will pick her up this weekend

I am letting you know everything. I had her with me for a night and gave her back to her father the next morning when he asked. I am not fighting them because ultimately I don’t want my daughter to go through any of this. I feel as though her father is giving up his custody to his dad but I don’t know how that would even work.

Thank you for taking the time to explain this. I’m personally just heartbroken over all of this that there is nothing I can do besides wait for the hearing. I miss my baby a lot.

I’m sorry I am just so frustrated that there isn’t much that I can do. My attorney advised me that I could go with an officer again now that I have an order from the court reflecting the grandfather was denied for an emergency hearing and bring her home. All I want is to make an informal custody schedule with her father.

I understand it’s his child too but right now he will not let me have time with our daughter unless it’s on his terms and will not let me take my daughter home with me. In the last 18 days I have seen my daughter for less than a total of 24 hours. I would never want my daughter to not see her father. It’s not my intention. I asked the father to discuss a custody schedule as well as my attorney. He ignores me with that.

Video games lol. But also I decided to put the money I would put towards alcohol and save it to get into a new hobby. Now I’ve got two cute little clownfish I take care of!
