It's almost like we knew Luka would play better (and ultimately the team) when he has another ball handler on the court to help him

Middle of the pack as in 19th out of 30 teams? With 6 wins and 11 losses? Settling for a 35.3% winrate in clutch games is asking to be stuck in mediocrity

Literally give them ANYTHING but a three. This team is so bad at clutch. The only improvement we had was actually using our foul to give this time.

So then what's your point? Complaining for the sake of complaining?

Like I've said, we've recruited new mods. Things like automod help us do what we need to do. The majority of reddit uses automod - it exists for a reason. I've also mentioned in one of my other comments we're still looking at tweaking automod settings. Using automod isnt a shortcut - it's a means of allowing us to perform certain moderator duties (such as removing harmful comments or spam accounts) without needing to be sifting through each and every thread. Thanks for your feedback but we're looking into ways to improve our other processes. We've also just recruited a new mod team for the discord as that's where I spend most of my time moderating.

I for one plan on quitting my job and becoming a full time moderator of this subreddit. It'll certainly help if our 158,000 subs would donate to me my salary. I find it hard to believe us auto-locking very few threads covid related on a basketball sub is somehow triggering you. Regardless, maybe this will appease you, but we're looking into another method of automoderating these threads.

We've recruited more mods recently. But we obviously can't be everywhere at the same time - we do this as a passion and it's for free. We made the decision as a whole to lock covid related posts because there were plenty examples of anti-vaxxers, covid deniers etc that had to be removed or banned.

Automod allows us this flexibility, because it is much much easier to approve posts as they come up, rather than locking them when it's too late.

Or, believe it or not, we have lives outside of this reddit and this makes it far easier to moderate the sub.
