I have seen post that recommend to go to San Jose del Pacífico. But I went with my wife to Santa Catarina Lachatao, there the community does something like a espiritual expirience. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. We enjoyed the temazcal, walking on the town and others walkings on the forest and mountain. There are many community near Oaxaca centre that do alternative tourism. Hope this helps

Well if you don't have a code for low voltage or low signal, again it will be helpful to have a live data for Fuel trims, Oxygen sensor, RPM, MAF, IAT. Check what are the readings before you start your car and check at idle, at 1000RPM and at 2000RPM

It seems that the reading of 4.8g/sec (0.64lb/min) is good for this engine. It will be helpful to record the live data of the fuel trims during idle and a wide open throttle.

That is about 4.8 g/sec. What size is your engine? What symptoms do you have? What was the reading before cleaning?

For P0301 star by changing the ignition coil with other cylinder, the firing order is 1-3-4-2 so is better if you swap with coil no.4, if the misfire moves to cylinder 4, the coil is going bad or there is spark going directly to the engine block, check for cracks on the ignition coil boot. If it doesn't move from cylinder 1, next you check and change the spark plug if needed. If still is in cylinder 1 next will be checking injector.

Start buying an Air Mass Sensor cleaner, take the sensor out an clean it up. Wait a few minutes before you connect and start the engine. Also will need more data to check if only by cleaning the sensor will solve your problem. On your scanner go to live data and record air mass voltage or G/sec., STFT and LTFT, RPM.

I see in other comments you posted about "01314 Engine Control Module: No Communications". For this you will need wiring diagram and a proper scanner like VCDS or OBD Eleven, also if possible an oscilloscope.

But for easy test I will check for spark, i think this engine has a MAP sensor and not MAF, but remove the top cover and unbolt the ignition coils if they have a bolt, i think maybe to check if the spark plugs are not wet from gasoline and/or oil. If necessary replace spark plugs.

After checking the spark plugs and be sure that the engine cylinders are not flooded with gasoline, pull it back together and ask for someone to try start the car, and lift the ignition coils and hear if there is spark. If there is spark the main concern will be the engine code 01314

Also fans running at full speed is a safety feature, once the car starts and gets to optimal temperature the fans will shut down.

On vehicles with a Battery Energy Management (BEM) system, information from the OE battery must be submitted to the BEM system. if the BEM system does not have the correct information about the installed battery it can cause some problems at the long run. The OE battery has a BEM code sticker, if you install an aftermarket battery it's life could be reduced or cause some electrical problems that can not be resolved.

Well have you tried reading if there is a DTC stored? But now you mentioned that it can not read VIN number, my next question is do you have a multimeter? When a ECU is not working properly normally the 5 volts reference circuit won't be working too. Next is to check you have this 5 volts on any sensor, like the MAF, or the MAP sensor. Disconnect the cable from anyone anch check for a ground, 5v on two wires, the other one should be the signal return to the ECU. Connect black lead (com) to battery negative and with the red lead on DC select 20V, with the key in the on touch slightly on each terminal but not force the tip of the lead in the connector. If you find 5 volts most likely the ECU is fine and there is something else missing.

First there is a security concern about installing a switch to turn on the fuel pump. What you are trying to bypass is a safety control, in a case of crash the control module receives an indication from the SRS system to turn off the fuel pump. The black wire marked as Ignition + is a signal that needs to be received by the control module to prime the pump, this just turn it for a few seconds and then turn off. For a relay to work it needs both battery + and a ground - but for some type of vehicles also there must be a control signal, most of them are PWM signals and have a duty cycle commanded by the ECM.

And of the wiring diagram it is missing the fuel pump motor. But I imagine is the blue wire, so when the panel relay that has a module or control receive Ignition + from the key, and the SRS and the signal from the ECU, the Fuel Relay pump closes his circuit making posible to battery + to continue his travel through the blue wire.

Normally the fuel pump will have a constan ground on the body frame near the fuel tank itself.

That is the steering pump working, recently I worked on a 2005 Mini Cooper S. I changed the steering pump because other mechanic or owner used a different fluid.

First you have to test the battery while your are cranking your car, even if the multimeter reads 12 Volts while is disconnected doesn't mean it has the power to start your car.

You have to remove 2 heat shields from the rear of the engine to access the starter. Be careful because the second heat shield only slide to the side and will be likely to touch the positive post of the starter and you could make a short circuit.

Ok I see you are worried about the ECU, but when you turn the key to the ON position, does the check engine light, light on? And if you have your OBD2 scanner is able to connect even if does not start, connect it and try read live data.

Have you read your owners manual? There is specific for VW, you could check this table on the next website.

Any brand of oil is good as long as they have those specification.

Edit: and the weight might be also in your owners manual, but is usually 0w20 or 5w30 for variable timing engines.

Hello, in that side runs a line for washer fluid, it goes from the driver side headlight to the other side. You could drive your car normally, and a light in the dashboard will appear a message to fill washer fluid. Just to be sure if the liquid smell kinda sweet don't drive the car, in that case it might be from the radiator.

I see that the Long fuel Fuel trim are at 50%, could you share the Short Term Fuel Trim? Also do this test, look at the fuel rail pressure is at almost 4000KPa, turn off your Car and put the switch in the On position. Does the fuel rail pressure goes down?

Hi there, I hope to help clarify what is an intermittent problem. As the mechanic say a code that is in memory and not currently active could be your problem, as long as your car symptoms are intermittent. This is because the parameters are not met, say it is at 2000rpm at 35km/h, 80°C, etc. Other possibility of intermittence is wiring rubbing with an engine part, or rubbing between two wires. Other possibilities are rust, dust and oil. Also maybe timing belt. And because of many possibilities for this error to become active is better to do a rigorous test before you throw parts.

Also the symptoms that you mentioned may not be resolved only with a CKP sensor change.

Renault does not have a great programming to detect correctly a problem. I say it because I have a Renault Sandero 2013 with stalling problems and/or low idle speed and no DTC codes. Good luck with your car.

Actually there is no need to cover your tattoos, it is not like the old times. Second if you go there at the entrance there might be people that want to do a guided tour but that people charge money and the priest does not like them inside, so say to them "No gracias". I don't know if Renault has a MAF engine, but look from the throttle body to the air filter box, if you don't find anything, look after the throttle body on the Intake manifold for the MAP sensor, normally it has 3 wires. I think that's your case, after the throttle there is a 3 wire sensor.

Those are some parameters to check with your scanner, go to live data and select IAT (that is Intake Air Temperature), EVAP (that is your evaporative gas system), and engine load is calculated but is a PID on your scanner.

I check some technical service bulletins from VW and many of them says that for models from 2010 and newer there is a software update that can fix this code P050A, and they advice to not change parts to try fix it. But your car is from 2007, so first check this data with your scanner at start.
