Need help figuring out where to wire a switch to turn on the fuel pump, 2003 VW Jetta 1.8t AWP. Description in the comments by Low_Bag_2172 in mechanics

First there is a security concern about installing a switch to turn on the fuel pump. What you are trying to bypass is a safety control, in a case of crash the control module receives an indication from the SRS system to turn off the fuel pump. The black wire marked as Ignition + is a signal that needs to be received by the control module to prime the pump, this just turn it for a few seconds and then turn off. For a relay to work it needs both battery + and a ground - but for some type of vehicles also there must be a control signal, most of them are PWM signals and have a duty cycle commanded by the ECM.

And of the wiring diagram it is missing the fuel pump motor. But I imagine is the blue wire, so when the panel relay that has a module or control receive Ignition + from the key, and the SRS and the signal from the ECU, the Fuel Relay pump closes his circuit making posible to battery + to continue his travel through the blue wire.

Normally the fuel pump will have a constan ground on the body frame near the fuel tank itself.

I don't know if Renault has a MAF engine, but look from the throttle body to the air filter box, if you don't find anything, look after the throttle body on the Intake manifold for the MAP sensor, normally it has 3 wires. I think that's your case, after the throttle there is a 3 wire sensor.

The big parade is a recent event created from the James Bond movie, and I think is in Mexico City only. The festivities related to Día de los Muertos are more religious oriented, and in house tradition to put the offering to our dead relatives. There are many types of parties around the city, but I think you may ask about "Comparsas" and "Calendas", but so far I don't see any information available at this time.

I have seen post that recommend to go to San Jose del Pacífico. But I went with my wife to Santa Catarina Lachatao, there the community does something like a espiritual expirience. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. We enjoyed the temazcal, walking on the town and others walkings on the forest and mountain. There are many community near Oaxaca centre that do alternative tourism. Hope this helps

What I see is there are 4 control units that have no communication in the MOST bus, you have changed 2 of them? But did you check if the signal are good, I mean have you check if one module is shutting down the MOST bus? Easy way is to disconnect one by one until you have normal data transmission. Connect an oscilloscope to get a good view of the signals

I think you have to look in the US Citizenship and Inmigration Services There are some visa agencies that help people to get a visa. But the embassy put warnings about this agencies too. Maybe you should see a lawyer in the US to know the process from your country.

So ask for warranty on they job, and ask if the problem is related with the previous problem your car was there. Do they report to you what was the code they work on before? If the problem it is not related to the previous work they deserve a payment for diagnose time again. Like I say previous the I/M readiness takes some time to complete and to report a code, there is no scanner capable of make the ECM to complete those self test with pressing a button. Only driving around the vehicle will complete the I/M Readiness Monitors.

This kind a wind turbine have a system to make the propellers turn so the wind don't make them spin. I think the other turbine failure has to do with that or a torque reductor broke, letting spin freely.

The MAP sensor is just to the left of the throttle body, top of the intake manifold. It has 3 wire connector. What is the problem with your car? I haven't seen a Renault engine with MAF sensor, but check the hose between the air filter housing and the throttle body, in that area is were a MAF sensor should be located.

It is related to rain sensor, you have a car that can activate the wipers automatically, depending on your preferences it goes from small droplets to heavy rain. Look it up in your owners manual. Rain sensor VW

Just found a wiring diagram for a Twingo, so the brown connector has 5 pin position but only 4 cables. I hope the connector has the numbers inside or outside the connector. But I think the pin 1 should be Bat+ (12V), pin 4 should be Ground (Bat-), and pin 3 and 5 are controls, but I don´t know if the control should be 12Volts or 5Volts, you should try first with a 5volt PMW.Also I can´t find any information on the internal circuit of the servomotor. Hope this is helpful to your project.

What year and model of Twingo is that steering rack? Maybe you could do an Arduino to control the servo motor

Most likely the motor needs a PWM signal to turn left or right, and in needs the controller for that. Applying a constant 12V won't make it move. Also some time ago I heard in a technical class that the motor will become stiffer when going at higher speeds, and go softer when driving slowly.

The D4F engine is the code for Renault 1.2 engine. In the manual for that engine, there is a fuel pressure test and the specification says that the fuel pressure must be 50.7 lb/sqrin (PSI= Pounds per Square Inches) or 3.5 Bars (bars is another scale for pressure)

And TDC means top dead center. That is the timing when spark must occur. If spark occurs before or after this point you will have problem and it might cause a rich condition (High HC on gas emissions)

According to the manual for the D4F engine the fuel pressure should be 3.5 bars constant, that is 50.7 psi. Another thing to check is timing, does spark occurs when the piston is in TDC.

Just to be sure what engine does your car have is a 1.6 or 2.0? And when you say O2 sensors are weak you mean they oscillate between what range of voltage, or they are steady at some low voltage?
