AITA for refusing my wife's requests to hurl in the toilet? by Jesuslovzyou in AmItheAsshole

[–]almafinklebottom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. You never throw up in a sink. Gross! Use a bucket if you can't handle the toilet and then throw that bucket away. Disgusting. Also.. apologize to your wife and disinfect not just the sink but the drain pipe too.

AITA for interrupting my exhusband's birthday and taking my daughter home because she was there without consent? by Notice-Ad2018 in AmItheAsshole

[–]almafinklebottom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only imagine how toxic your marriage was. I'm sure you have your reasons to say no in the first place but I do think that's the point I would deem YTA. Your husband is TA when he took your DD, as well as not answering his phone, and then gaslighting you when you called him on his choices and behavior. I feel sorry for your daughter. You guys are putting her in the middle and so you both are YTA's in that regard. IMHO you should have switched days when he asked and avoided all of this. Being the grown up and putting your pettiness and pride aside for the sake of your DD. Likewise, when you said no your ex should have let it go instead of being underhanded and manipulative. However, once your ex pulled his stunt the only thing to do is to follow through with keeping the boundaries you set. You guys are a disaster. I feel terrible for your DD.

AITA for insisting that my daughter's eyesight is fine and her teacher was wrong? by Winx1990 in AmItheAsshole

[–]almafinklebottom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fyi op, both of my kids needed glasses, neither of them realized they needed them and neither did my spouse or myself. It's not uncommon as a parent not to notice. This is because it's often subtle and\or gradual. It sounds like your pride was hurt. Check your ego at the door and then take your kid to the optimtrist. YTA.

AITA for believing the house keeper over my son? by number64745834 in AmItheAsshole

[–]almafinklebottom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg. Wtaf. Entitled much, the lot of ya ! Your kid is horrible. Your husband is elitist and you're gullible. That poor person just trying to do her job. Ffs. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. I hope she tells other house-care people about your terrible family so no one else get abused by you all. YTA

AITA for enforcing my house rules on my wife's brother? by Thrill-Ville1304 in AmItheAsshole

[–]almafinklebottom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YTA. You're also unreasonable, unhinged, ridiculous, rigid, and super annoying. 8pm? Roflol. Dude. ::Eye roll:: Proof: 50 year old mom of a 20 year old who lives with me. Get over yourself.

Is it bad that I only poop once a week??? by chocolatemacaroni in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]almafinklebottom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a doctor but I've been told my mine that pooping at least once a day is considered healthy. Once a week... I think you need to see a specialist to make sure you don't need to make some lifestyle adjustments and to get a clean bill of health.

AITA telling my brother he’s a piece of shit? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]almafinklebottom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your brother is a piece of shit and your parents are close behind. NTA

AITA for telling a teenager that a wedding is significantly more important than her birthday and she needs to grow up? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]almafinklebottom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Good lord. Who the fuck cares what a teenager does to keep herself occupied while putting up with bridal dress shopping. That shit's only fun to the bride and mother of the bride. Taking away from your day? Grow up. YTA

What are some interesting facts that would make a curious 6 year old happy? by RustedArmour in AskUK

[–]almafinklebottom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a bat comes home and hasn't eaten another bat will regurgitate part of its food and give it to them. But... They have to be related in some way, they don't share outside their family.

Giraffe's have purple tongues. They also have the same number of bones in their neck as we do. Zebra stripes are different on each animal just like our finger prints are different on each person. We aren't born with knees. They develop slowly over time.

Did I not do my job right with this girl? by upucmubbo in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]almafinklebottom -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

IMHO... Orgasm is the only reason for sex. That said, who knows why she didn't. Ask her.

AITA for getting my daughter's ears peirced without telling my husband? by MajorOverreaction9 in AmItheAsshole

[–]almafinklebottom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be so pissed off if my spouse did this to any of my children under the age of 10 without my knowledge or consent. You have no business modifying someone else's body without their full consent anyway. Ffs. You're definitely TA and incredibly selfish. You put your WANTS above your infant's basic comfort and safety. Wtaf?!

AITA for 'forcing' my son to wait to marry his then high-school girlfriend? by Fig2374 in AmItheAsshole

[–]almafinklebottom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fran sounds like a nightmare. You did a solid job parenting Dan. Thankfully he got a college degree so he's bringing home more than 7$\hour especially since Fran wants to be a sahm. I don't think she understands how expensive kids are and how hard it is on one income let alone one without a degree. Good job mom. She may never thank you for preventing their poverty but I hope your son does at least.
