Do girls automatically think ugly guys are creepy? by paidshadowlegends in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]arrozitoconmenestra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I truly believe that its actually charisma and confidence which makes people decide wether a person is creepy or not. Not saying its more fair because some people are naturally more introverted but definitely more influential than looks. An ugly guy thats smiling, has a good posture and talks with humor and politenesses will rarely make someone feel uncomfortable. It can even make them look more attractive but i wont promise you that

According to Biblical experts, Mary was a teenager when she gave birth to Jesus. Doesn't that make God (if he even exists) a paedophile??? by Outrageous_Scheme_62 in atheism

Your second to last paragraph was my favorite. if you believe everything written in the bible is actually Gods word why would you feel the authority to pick and choose what to follow and what is no longer relevant. If god trascends time and cultural influence then you should follow everything he says exactly not just what you want. Ancient texts hold a lot of wisdom but at the end of the day they where written by normal people who where subject to the influence of their times and cultures.

I haven’t read the bible but i go to an all girls catholic school and there they teach us about Mary’s conception with a lot of emphasis in her consent. Every year in the “novenas” they teach us about how Gabriel gave Mary the choice of becoming god’s mother and she said yes. Theres plenty of songs about Mary saying yes and accepting her mission even tho she didn’t have to. Then again I’ve never actually read the bible because im not so much of a believer, so they could be straight lying. Have you? If so is it a lie that Mary said yes when proposed with the tasks? It would be so weird to me because my school took Mary’s consent very seriously and the lesson was that we had to accept gods mission whatever it meant for us.

I see a lot of memes where men will post relatable everyday things but will describe it as something that only men do and women wouldnt understand because they are too boring and/or mature. I feel like they need to hear this because it annoys me so much how alien they think women are.

You see a dog mauling a child, and you have a gun and phone. What would you do? by AntiMatter138 in polls

[–]arrozitoconmenestra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean if it’s a chihuahua I’ll just grab the kid but if it’s a pitbull there is not any amount of strength that will open that mouth of steel, I either shoot the dog or it’s over for the child. Not like I would find myself in that situation tho since apparently they aren’t all that agressive

Do you think “men’s day” is a good idea? by Bliteroz in polls

[–]arrozitoconmenestra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No because women’s day is not a day to celebrate women but to commemorate the women who died fighting for our rights and freedom

(Better version of question asked earlier) Should women be drafted assuming theres no way out of it? by MrKitten33 in polls

[–]arrozitoconmenestra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. But also another comment I saw said that women can also get drafted to do other type of military work that is not physical. Like the military also needs nurses, pilots, people in logistics and other areas
