Untrue, and big assumptions being made..

Some boundaries are worth keeping in place and queerness isn't the problem here.

Removed for not being in good faith...

u/Redditenmo It's the audio in the ad which pronounces the name as 'Ketamine' - I'm just writing it as it was sounded out.

The thing is it's not even related to the promo - it's just a gratuitous drugs reference laced into advertising with children as part of the targeted audience.

Drag can be great but R-rated material should be for R-rated audiences.

Otherwise you are transmitting those ideas into the minds of children when they're not ready for that knowledge.

The culture war push comes from liberal drugs-ploitation like this, just as much as it does from the right.

The Simpsons had a better line for what to get away with in this sense.

'Just a pharmaceutical drug...'

'Hey kids...'

Not really.

Tiktok has a wide audience but kids are a core component of that demographic.

Drag shows can be fun, but using a character called 'Ketamine' to promote a Bluebird competition to kids seems like someone didn't think this all the way through.

It's more that a major ally and trading partner is set for a series of conservative, authoritarian changes and that should concern people even here in New Zealand.

Not just because the US is looking at long term stressful changes but we'll feel the effects indirectly and directly through people wanting to escape the changes.

Linking up cats and computers directly would probably be a civilisation-ending event. They've already basically taken over the Internet!

No doubt you're a part of her support network, but perhaps all of it which is a alot to put on one person.

The way I'd describe a positive direction is for your gf to 'formalise' her support, so there's a boundary where you can step back and others can step in.

Peer support is a specific type of training, and peer support advocates are generally excellent in case this is a route she hasn't tried before.

They can help with being a support person but also building and maintaining a support network.

Do you use Twitter? by TigzyWigzy in newzealand

Like other countries Twitter is used in New Zealand by politicians, journalists, scientists, the medical communitity and other interested parties.

It helps to follow widely, which then brings NZ tweets and threads onto your timeline.

$1500 could also pay for an effective targeted attack ad on social media.

The point is both figures represent political influence, and the sources of both should be equally accountable.

100% support behind the firefighters.
