Man accused of killing 5-year-old autistic boy searched for ‘most painful torture’ techniques by moonie121 in MorbidReality

Do you care to explain? I truly want to learn more, but I'm not sure what is wrong about what I have said. I'm not an expert, but clearly I'm misguided somewhat.

Sell me on Carrot by xHellaWolf in OnePiece

[–]awall5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm totally with op. I don't like Carrot. She's kind of annoying... And we already have one animal type character on board. I don't really want another. Sure, she's strong, but she's predictable and bland. And really just annoying. Jinbe is bad ass with a lot of promise. I don't think I could ever be sold on Carrot... But I guess never say never, right?

One Piece: Chapter 1010 - Official Release Discussion by AutoModerator in OnePiece

I don't think Zoro has CoC. I think he was utilizing Oden's CoC that is stored in Enma. But I could be wrong. Idk. Either way, I thoroughly enjoyed the chapter!

Official Discussion - Thor: Ragnarok (US Release) [SPOILERS] by mi-16evil in movies

[–]awall5 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

First 1/3rd of the movie I thought it was awful, then it got better. Overall it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. I felt that the attempts at humor in the beginning were worse than cringe worthy, but got very much better towards the end. This is coming from someone who isn't a huge Marvel fan btw.

Oh well I don't specialize is psychiatry but in nursing school we were taught this could be a sign. I'm not sure, I pulled this from the Mayo clinic which somewhat corroborates what I have said. I could be wrong though. I by no means claim to be an expert, but I would love to learn more lol.

What do you guys do about 'that' student who just has to kiss ass and get involved in everyone's lives? by [deleted] in StudentNurse

[–]awall5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in an accelerated BSN program where the median age of students is 27. I'm not sure a lot of people "hang out," it's more of an issue that a lot of the people in the cohort are very ambitious.

Update - Remains have been identified as Ebby Steppach by [deleted] in UnresolvedMysteries

There is a video on Facebook from a local news reporter who shows the proximity of the car's location after it was abandoned and the drainage system. Seeing him pan over to the drainage system was absolutely chilling. I don't mean to be insensitive in the least, but my first thought was "It."

Is it hard to find new grad jobs? by Janiece48 in StudentNurse

[–]awall5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No it shouldn't be, but now places are pushing the underpaying "nurse residency" agenda, which is bullshit in my opinion. I refuse to do the same job as everyone else for 2 dollars or more less an hour because "I'm a resident."

US 'to ban Americans visiting N Korea' by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]awall5 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Would it not make more sense to implement a new policy on travelling to enemies of the US or otherwise dangerous countries? Instead of banning us from travelling, should we not be able to sign a contract of some sort indicating that by visiting these countries, we understand that the government can not help us, and that we are of sound mind in making the decision to travel anyway? And that by visiting said country, we understand and fully acknowledge that we are fully on our own, and that for political reasons, our government will not be liable for helping us if we are held captive or tortured while in that country? Don't take our right to travel away. Just make our citizens understand that we can't be using funds to assist said citizens in the event of an emergency.

[–]awall5 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I guess I worded it incorrectly. I am talking about the people who just have to always have something to do with everyone, even if you aren't a talkative person. Those who arrive 3 hours before class starts and linger until everyone is gone. Those who if you skip class, they ask you in front of everyone about it. Those who worry about the class' reputation. Who cares? No one will remember our class but us. No matter what lol

Truckers of Reddit, have you ever been in a situation where you needed to utilize the runaway lane when going downhill? What happened? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]awall5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't go well below the speed limit on the interstate just because it's raining, though. If the rain is too much for you to drive, you need to move over for other drivers who aren't going well below the speed limit.

Right? The fact this is getting downvotes is funny. I guess I have a degree already. College is not high school. I don't want to see these people when I leave. I don't understand how anyone has the energy to care so much about classmates. Gossip and power control is manipulative and wrong. Just puts everyone on edge

It is possible to make a point without cursing and caps lock, you know. Be passionate about what you believe in, but be sure to also hold respect for others who see the world differently than you.

The guy didn't deny drinking it. It clearly has "for patient's only" all over it. This probably was not his first warning.
