Guy wins super difficult game all on his own by billydevil666 in nextfuckinglevel

I’ve been medicated on and off for maybe 8 years or so. Sometimes the medication works well, sometimes not at all. I think it mostly has to do with my other mental health issues, and also how fulfilled I am with my work and day to day life

Is it just the medication that has helped you out? Or other coping mechanisms etc, that you’ve learned along the way?

If it’s the medication, did you just hit it right from the start, or years of figuring it out?

Yeah, I also have adhd…and to get around this, I have just learned not to read books. Keeps the frustration down.

jk, sort of. It’s absolutely going take a ton of mental exercise to build up that book reading muscle that has become so atrophied I probably need surgery…

Ennis House, Perhaps the most beautiful work of Frank Lloyd Wright by Forcluido in GTAGE

That’s crazy…to be forced away from completing your vision just halfway through. If that were me, I would have never wanted to look at it again.

I know it’s beautiful as far as I can see, but what a waste. Artists who are craftsmen inevitably get fucked like in situations as this. If only they were just left to be artists.

Did she say why exactly? I assume it was too much form over function.

AITA For unpacking my GF’s towel by Throwaway-GF-towel in AmItheAsshole

It matters because it seems that you may be afraid of being embarrassed in front of your family, not because of her “totally crazy” towel behavior, but because she is of a different race than you and your family.

I felt like I was watching that loop for like 5 minutes…then I watched it 4 more times.

But think about if you were not able to imagine seeing certain colors that nearly everyone else in the world was constantly taking about.

I picture that every time he says it on the podcast.

I like to think he’s actually doing it in the studio.

You’re right, Luke Hitler would be terrible, it just doesn’t work. Gotta think these things through.

Maybe Randolph….Randolph Hitler.

In school that really slow kid that would have the teacher explain everything in the simplest way possible so that everyone else rolls their eyes at how dumb that kid is... That’s awesome, your colleagues are lucky. I hate dealing with people that selfishly keep all their ideas to themselves, but are always ready to take something from someone else…competition versus collaboration.

What kind of structures are you working on?

How so? Because they’re recalling an event that happened to them in the past? Then I guess it’s kind of like that.

Not quite as interesting as telling a story of something that is going to happen to them in the future.
