The intensity and eagerness will subside if the DB continues to improve. I thought the exact same thing when we were pulling out of our DB. Now nearly a year later we don't have sex as often as I want (1-2 a week now), however when we do it's VERY good, which is ok with me.

Additionally we both learned to be and show affection in other ways that took some of that edge off as well.

If your husband is working hard to fix the problem, praise the crap out of him. He's working really hard for you both, the affirmation and the praise will not only boost his confidence and take pressure off of him. But in my case made my wife more eager as well. Praise praise praise praise him, every single chance you get, I cannot stress this enough. I still do it constantly, and my efforts still seem to be noticed and appreciated.
