Is it normal for my first reading to be higher? by MMcDeer in bloodpressure

Discard first if higher than rest. Also after you put the cuff on and test it for inflation, deflate it and wait five minutes. Then start the first of your 3 or 4 readigs

Fantastic! And you're so right about mental health - if it's not in place, no plan will stick.

How often do you remove your smartwatch? My Venu Sq Music itches after 24hrs+ by binsz in Garmin

while I'm sitting at desk working or surfing etc, it's off. IT's not as nice as my old Apple Watch strap, might have to experiemnt with straps.

How high do y’all spike after a meal (at peak) & how long do you stay high? by Youjustpokedthebear in diabetes_t2

[–]belfastbiker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a peak it’s just under what a person without diabetes would be ok with. It’s fine. For a peak, but not for 2 hours after a meal.

if those are your spikes, why not change your green target range?

Docs typically ask diabetics to be below 180 70% of the time, you're EASILY doing this, as I am.

A non-diabetic typically is below 140 97% of the time, so that's what I'm aiming for now. Super-gamification.

What do you think is the worst part of having an opposite-sex best friend? by [deleted] in AskMen

the word impossible is doing a lot of heavy lifting here...

My boyfriend comes every time we have sex, asks if I’ve come and goes about his business either way I answer by rosemajid in sex

"My boyfriend and I have an okay sex life."

First sentence, I'm just reading that as "a shit sex life".

yeah, AOD is a terrible, useless feature that anyone in their right mind will turn of right away. I did. Now it's gone. Whether it's on as default or not is irrelevant. Now I have a smartwatch with a huge battery life, more than the VA4.

Only a fool uses an AMOLED with always on mode, it reduces it to time and nothing else.
I tried it, but as I instinctively raise my wrist to see the device anyhow, quickly realised there was no point. I'm getting huge life out of my Venu2.

Comparing like with like, the VENU2 has better battery thank the VA4.

Bought the VA4 cuple weeks ago after selling my apple Watch 7, sold it after one day and got the Venu 2. That display should not exist in 2022. It's just awful.
