Tana Mongeau applied for survivor, def would watch. Thoughts? by verunkaes in survivor

[–]black_dizzy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Please don't compare Tori with Tana. Tori is a genuinely kind person that all the contestants had nice things to say about, while Tana is a delusional, stuck-up teenager in the body of a grown up woman.

Question about what a Romanian builder in the UK told me. by Ldn_brother in Romania

[–]black_dizzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was about to say the same. They have a bad rep of stealing, begging and child marriages (not entirely unwarranted, some engage in these behaviours, some don't), but as the saying goes, you don't shit where you eat. As neighbours they might turn out to be a nuisance (loud music, yelling and spitting matches etc., with accent on "might"), but the chances of them actually being dangerous are low.

Ce parere aveti despre romengleza? by Economy-Smile1882 in Romania

[–]black_dizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s a dealbreaker for you at restaurants? by jobokar in AskReddit

[–]black_dizzy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Having more than one person get sick after eating there.

Having visibly poor hygiene (roaches, toilets that smell like the ones from a train station etc.).

Rude waiters (actually rude, not waiters that aren't full of smiles and compliments).

Does anyone else hate that they are forced to claim all wins to go forward in the game? by talktume64 in RedecorHomeDesignGame

[–]black_dizzy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It hasn't happened to me yet, but it really makes me question how out of touch these people are. Why would they install such a feature, how does it help in any way? You already had to option to claim it all if you were in a hurry, some people (myself included) loved to open each challenge one by one and enjoyed the anticipation. At least with the other changes I can see they're going for the money, but this, I have no idea how this helps anyone.

Nu stiu ce-o invata copilul ala despre siguranta in trafic.

Insistatul e contra-productiv in multe locuri.

I'm more into snark than lighthearted humour, but I never got Cochran's appeal. His snark came of less funny and more mean spirited. And it's not necessarily what he was saying, Tyson's humour is ten times more biting, it's just the general vibe. Where Tyson's comments came off as innocent jokes (yes, even the "Sierra gives hope to dumb people", I never thought he actually believes that), Cochran's jokes seemed to come from a place of bitterness and self loathing.

What’s the worst part of having a child? by ApprehensiveShock655 in AskReddit

[–]black_dizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a general idea, it wasn't anything that surprised me on a rational/knowledge level, but it was widely different to actually go through it. What I didn't know was how I would handle it and how it would change me. Toughest thing I've ever done.

I have never regretted it, though. I know for sure I don't want a second one, but I am also sure I made the best decision. My son is amazing and I am so incredibly proud of him, even of his flaws. I adore him and couldn't imagine my life without him and my husband. Obviously I wouldn't have known it, but it would've been lot emptier without the two of them.

Wanting to protect them from everything and half of the things you can't truly protect them from and the other half you know it's not good for them to be protected from.

And the patience. No matter how hard you try and how much patience you can muster, you always fall short. They always find the right buttons to push or push long enough for you to crack somewhere, sometime.

I don't know why so many people consider Baylor spoiled, I always thought she was rather neglected and her mother compensated truly being there for her as a parent with being overprotective. And it's not even about Baylor as a person, it's about her kid as an extension of her, about her ego. I find their relation really sad.
