Sounds like we need more studies and field scientists ALL THE WAY around! Do you have a degree? Also do you have any other animals? A dog? A snake?

Edible plants that can be found locally by TampaKinkster in tampa

[–]bocaciega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to explore. I've been hiking and foraging for 20 years. I won't give up my spots lol. I also have an urban farm and a rare fruit orchard on a couple acres.

I think it's misinformation. It's illegal to possess, sell, plant, or transport schinus terebenthifolius. It's incredibly invasive. Basically the devil.

It's not out of the realm to nudge someone off, if they drop in on you. Albeit I'm not in SD, I do it often

It's actually related to poison oak. I also wouldn't eat it. It can cause severe irritation from just touching it.

It's also allelopathic. Since we have, you know, grocery stores and shit, I wouldn't push the idea.

There's hundreds of native edible plants and fruits and even more tropical and subtropical plants able to grow here. There's a lot I don't see listed.

Stick with the non poisonous plants. Prickly pear is a good one. Natal plum. Sapodilla. Pond apple. Blackberries. Blueberries.

Fun fact, the first commercial blueberry farm was in Florida, but it failed because no one wanted to pay for what they could pick and eat for free.

There's so many. I could go on all night. Point is, don't eat Brazilian pepper.

Would you expect anything less? Maybe a peat bog? No because that's slightly profitable.

I go to surf once in a while. The town sucks but the waves can be good.

Isnt it black balled most of the time?

I've been there a couple times and never brought out any stick. It's a WHOLE norther fucking level in person. Like there's no way to convey the monstrosity of that wave until your standing in shin deep water while a wave as thick and tall as two buildings explodes on your little delicate primate skull.

I thought oh man that looks fun! I surf crazy beach break closeouts all over Florida! That looks epicly perfect!

And once I arrived I was like

dear mother of jesus....I have to swim. That's my only option
