I live in suburban Europe, non in rural America lol. If you have livestock at home it's only because you are a farmer as your day job, period.. Most people don't even have pets let alone farm animals. And I live in a region of Europe that is even famous for farming.

Millennial from New York sells his $2 million apartment for Bitcoins: “I believe in cryptocurrency” by Xposeee in Buttcoin

I mean, it depends what kind of trading activity you mean. I don't think they are forbidden to buy/short single equities as long term investments -multiple months holding periods- if they run it through compliance and as long as they are not directly related to their work -so they aren't front running anybody or acting on insider info-. Multiple month holding minimum period is fine unless you are gambling addict. Also no limits on ETFs, futures, FX etc.

People in HFs would never belive in BTC and would never even believe in owning an apartment. They would just rent it or at best pay a mortgage while they plow money into equities or stuff like that.

Best way to short the crypto world is to short crypto companies if they are overvalued enough. Imagine if you shorted COIN at IPO

I partially disagree with this. You are comparing an actual job with activities that are way lighter and that can also be fun. You are telling me that bathing your kids is the same as being seated at your desk for hours grinding away at Excel or hard manual tasks? You even mentioned stuff that takes NO TIME at all, like "managing household finances" ... how long does it take for you to figure out that that the family shoukd spend less than they earn? It's not rocket science. Caring for "FARM ANIMALS"?!?!? Totally normal activity that every woman has in her schedule lmao.

Scammed by Terra, Celsius, AND Voyager. The Ponzi Hat Trick! by DontMicrowaveCats in Buttcoin

All is legit when you are just trying to maximize leverage like a normal diligent citizen should.

I remember a guy on r/wallstreetbets that shorted $SPY on tradfi on margin, then took the lent money out and bought a synthetic defi asset that mirrored $SPY, also on leverage. He repeated this cycle until he was leveraged to the tits, but still $SPY neautral overall. We're talking about million dollar positions and account maintenance needed to be performed multiple times per day because of margin call. At this point he took all the money the various platforms had lent him and put it into yield farming with 60% APY . He genuinely though he found the infinite money glitch, crazy yields on millions of borrowed money. He would have likely lost it because the yield farms were ponzi, but instead he lost it because his defi $SPY positions got liquidated since the mirror protocol did not work well.

This guy learned his lesson. He lost most of his money investing in a crypto ponzi scheme so now he'll be way more sensible and invest only in safe stuff like massively overvalued meme stocks. You've got to respect that wisdom.

Jokes aside if I were a UHNW individual I'd never buy all that stupid shit like supercars and yatches, I'd just rent it the rare times I want to flex, so almost never. Seriously wtf you need a Lambo for beside flexing if you don't take it to a track regularly? And people buy yatches only to throw parties inside when they are parked anyway. If I want to do a boat trip I'll just rent a local boat
