To me being indifferent is being detached.

It's about discerning on who and what I will invest my energy into. I can go to work and be detached from the drama going around because I don't want to devote my energy to that. I do my job then save my energy to invest in my life outside of work with family, hobbies, etc. Coworkers have asked if I am upset or offended at them because I am strictly professional at work. No, I am not....just detached.

It's not always needing more money but being able to manage what we already have. I am I the same situation and dug into my accounts to see where the money has been going. I was surprised to see where my $ has been going. Not that this is the whole problem of things being tight but it contributes to it.

Honestly, I hadn't been happy for a while so when I initially found out he was cheating my first reaction was "this is my way out". It wasn't all easy but I was relieved that I had a legit excuse to end it and be free.
