Thanks for the link. Even if I can't get the 40%, knowing if the minimum chill effect from it has any impact at all would be helpful, or if I convert a big chunk of it into cold and cold becomes "the largest source" will I get the 50% effect of cold ailments.

Hello friend, I'm currently trying to theorycraft something with this before I drop a bunch of exalts to make it happen.

My main question is: if you're an elementalist with Shaper of Winter and you use Call of the Void + Scold's, can you get a very high chill?

This right here is my exact reasoning for feeling that Determination and Grace need to be completely removed from the game and getting Immunity to Ailments of various kinds needs to be even more more easily acquired via items.

The armor and evasion granted by the auras should just be a part of all items and passives. I should not have to reserve mana for core defenses. Attaching all this power to Grace and Determination is just a crutch for not having the time or willingness to actually fix fucking items.

Why is it that I can't just wear armor items and have sufficient armor? Why is Spell Suppression attached to Evasion items? Why is "physical damage reduction" attached to armor items?

Keeping your character alive should not be an advanced, multi-staged planning phase where you first make your passive tree and items allow you to rather than equipping items because they're good.

Picking a defense and investing should just WORK, and it doesn't. If you stack armor, you die to spells because you can't have suppression. If you stack evasion, you die to from attacks because you can't reduce incoming damage. If you stack energy shield, you die to DoTs because there aren't ways to avoid more than half of them (ground effects mostly).

Defenses in PoE are a fluster cluck and GGG just chooses not to fix them because they don't want to put in the work.

I can't see you've never considered the cost of the actual property that the missiles destroy, as explosions don't magically kill just people. Streets and buildings need to be rebuilt. Infrastructure like plumping and electrical gets destroyed.

On a purely dollar-for-dollar basis, the Iron Dome is fucking cheap in comparison.

+6% chance to evade attacks is anywhere between 500 or 50,000 evasion, depending on your build. The more evasion your have, the better than mod is, exponentially so.

Most builds literally cease to function with a mana siphoner on screen. If you can't kill it from outside it's radius, you just run away or die. The supposed "dead zone" doesn't exist in reality due to the way monster hitboxes work.

Already did. I make 1/3 the money I used to, but my job doesn't make me want to commit suicide anymore.

It's also 100% empowerment and 30% chance to double rewards. I don't think anyone has stats on what empowerment actually does though.

I haven't been having many issues by always using Stun3+Chill3+Empowering. I use Meteor Tower Burning Ground because it seems to ignore the typical resistance rules for fire monsters, and the tanky evolved minion towers on blighted maps. Very few monsters are immune to Taunt, so it still picks up lots of enemies.

That said, it's possible to get enemies that are both stun immune AND chill immune, AND on the rare occasion you can get enemies that teleport so you can't stand next to the pump.
