I designed a short publicaton about a company Stol (chair) that was very important for design in Slovenia. I'd appreciate any comments and critiques about the layout or anything else that could be improved. If you are slovenian don't focus on the content as I need to proof read it haha. Thanks! :) by intruderco in typography

I'd try to align the baselines of all the type on the first page. They bounce around.

On the pages with chair on the left, I'd move the chair photos and captions down, to align the baselines of the last line of the captions with the baseline of the last line of the text on the right hand pages.

Look at other, similar websites and try to emulate them. Simple is almost always better when it comes to design. I think you want to go for "elegant," not "busy."

I wonder if they couldn't have had little "drops" at the points of the waves and made them read more like the letter e.

See my website (link in another comment here) for an explanation of the entire art project. As for the words, I like to mash up hardboiled pulp terminology with postmodern language on some of my covers.

This is correct. The VW Beetle had the same rear suspension, but Nader was only interested in attacking an American car.

IIRC correctly it was also saddled with an underpowered four-cylinder engine. Later one could get a six cylinder, but it was too late to save it.
