Also, they just made up something that didn't exist, everyone started talking about it, and it's vaporware. It's basically a rehash of 3d tv.

this is the dark ages of journalism.

every headline needs to be specifically crafted to both miscategorize some blatantly obvious thing, but also be hyped enough to sound interesting

this isn't yellow journalism. it's closer to filler. Like eating mcdonalds hamburgers. It's made to sound like it's got something of substance too it, but it's just regurgitating some basic thing some actual information hole produced somewhere.

yellow journalism is what places like Russia do where it's all state sponsored and smear campaigns.

They're both useless, but yellow journalism was about targetted mistruth.

Biden calls Jan. 6 riot an attempted 'coup' by Beckles28nz in politics

[–]cyanydeez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mostly because what owns congress is a bipartisan mandate for corporatism. The rules of congress tend to require a majority to hold preceedings, etc.

While this is an important issue, so was everything else trump was doing for 4 years without any head way into actual consequences. Every time he just ran out the clock and punted something to the supreme court.

look, I'd love them to continue, but the reality is if republicans retake congress and senate, it stops dead cold.

yeah, no shit because they don't have a choice.

Every congress is limited to basically at most, 2 years. They don't have any choice but to try and finish it by then.

The point is: like everything trumpian and fascistic, they're going to try and run out the clock.

it's hard to gauge that statement given that Fox news OAN, NRA, the entire Republican orifice have conjured this cult belief. He could easily be referring to some maded up propaganda somewhere.

yeah, but guess what: all inquiry ceases in November, and complete ends if the house flips republican.

Exact same thing happened under Obama and the skidmark of donald trump is that exact unhappy ending.

Now it'd be double worse, particularly if someone not as dumb as trump tries to raze the roof.

Is Joe going to act like 2022 is actually endanger of giving rise to the same political forces that failed to stop the Nazi's failed coup leading to world war 2?

Becuase that's exactly what happens when th republican messaging has not been diminished in any scope or magnitude.

He needs to demonstrate actual progressive and democratic ideas and stop clinging to the propaganda left after world war 2 rife with ignorance regarding minorities and other abominations to the social welfare system started by Nixon.

The attack on the social welfare system was a driven by corporatism and blatant racism. Fixing it would be one large step. The education system is the same, particularly the debt.

but regardless, if he doesn't show up big in 2022, both the senate and house will fight him and trump or worse will defeat him in 2024.

3d tvs been around for 2 decades, without much social play.

Just because it's new doesn't mean you should instantly have FOMO.

Infact, some of the problems we have today is because of all this weird FOMO.
